We recently bought a 2011 Santa Fe from Gary Rome Hyundai in Holyoke. We bought a 2011 Sonata last year and loved it. We dealt with Mark Baron both times and it was a great experience. I recently bought my second car from Mark at Gary Rome Hyundai. He is a great salesman to work with, always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help the customer get exactly what they want. Bought a Santa Fe for myself a year ago & I just bought a Kia Soul for my daughter. Both buying experiences were very different because when I bought mine I went in with lots of info at hand. For my daughters choice it was more of a she saw and liked it. The salesman was helpful in answering questions about the vehicle and we felt comfortable about the purchase for her. Financing was easy and the deal was done in about 24 hours and my daughter has reliable transportation that I am comfortable with her driving. Overall my experiences with Gary Rome have been great and I often recommend them to friends & family when they are looking for vehicles. Not that shopping for a car is ever a great experience I have to say that Gary Rome is working hard to change that rule. More
I bought my Elantra Limited in June 2007 (new) from Gary Rome Hyundai. From that point on, I had all (literally all) of my services, including routine oil changes, done at Gary Rome. I recently moved out of the area but for the last 3.5 years I have been extremely satisfied with the level of service provided. Whether I was there for an oil change, a major service, or new tires (and yes, they DO come through with the Tires for Life program, about which I was a little skeptical initially), this dealership (and Dave Spafford in particular) gave me excellent customer service and performed great work. Jeanie, the receptionist, is also very friendly and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend Gary Rome; if I hadn't moved out of the area I would be going there for many years to come. More

He helped me find what I was looking for in a car: great quality at a great price. It took very little time overall. Mark made my experience there easy and fun to buy a car. The car I bought is pre-owned. Gary Rome Hyundai gave me a great deal on an extended warranty plan. I visited with the service department briefly and was very satisfied with their knowledge, friendliness, availability, and their preparation of my vehicle. My car is five years old but looks, feels, and drives like brand-new. And I shopped around so I know I got a good price. They also have a very nice customer waiting area. Thank you so much! More
I originally went to Bertera Mistubishi with the intent and notion to purchase a Lancer I had tested. The salesman informs me he made a mistake and the 10yr 100k warranty does not transfer to the 2nd owner and notion to purchase a Lancer I had tested. The salesman informs me he made a mistake and the 10yr 100k warranty does not transfer to the 2nd owner of a vehicle. This was an 09 Lancer with 20k... So, I am furious! I feel screwed and leave, no deal. I dive a few miles down the road to Gary Rome Hyundai. They tell me off the bat the warranty is the same, however if I choose to not go with the promotional "free" 32in TV they can certify the 09 Hyundai Elantra for me with no additional cost. I liked this deal and told them I would consider it and get back to them... The following day I came to make a deposit and they already put it through the certification inspection. That is what I call efficiency. My father had a very bad family emergency, and being a new college grad I needed him to co-sign. So, on a Saturday they opened up the business office for an hour so I could finalize all my paperwork to pick up the car that Monday. My father made his very important flight. It made me happy they went above and beyond and were very considerate for our situation. When I picked up the car it had no more mats in it, I informed Brian my salesman and i was given a brand new set with out trouble. They were honest with me about my trade and simply suggested I sell it myself (which I did) and got 2x what they told me they would be able to offer, so it was good advice. The price was a grand less than the Lancer, with more toys. The car rides well is put together nicely and clean. I got all the proper paperwork, carfax etc. Just a well run dealership, with a PERSONABLE and professional staff. I thank them for the experience, I intend to return in a few years. More

I was incredibly please with every aspect in my dealings with Gary Rome Hyndai. Both David and Mark were not only knowledgeable but incredibly helpful. They both gave me the honest impression that they were more interested in helping me make the right dicission for myself than they were is selling me a car. I had been to several other car dealers in my search and none of them made me feel as at ease as Dave and Mark did at Gary Rome Nissan. In fact I was highly irritated by other dealers as it was obvious they cared more about their sales then they cared about my needs. Other dealers continuously tried to over sell me when I clearly knew what I was looking for. The people at Gary Rome never made me feel this way and in fact made conservative suggestions that actually fit my needs better than some of my own choices. I had a great experience with both Mark and Dave at Gary Rome Nissan and strongly reccomend them. More
