While I can say, it definitely wasn't a pain free experience, Maria the salesperson was pleasant and helpful. The finance department was slightly rude - I understand they probably explain the same th experience, Maria the salesperson was pleasant and helpful. That said, we were able to secure financing at a reasonable rate comparatively and ultimately I did purchase a car. More transparency about the cost and monthly breakdown would be helpful to potential customers. More
This dealer is great when you buy the car. If you have a problem crop up, you will be hard pressed to get it resolved. The people in public-facing positions don't seem to have effective oversight from the o problem crop up, you will be hard pressed to get it resolved. The people in public-facing positions don't seem to have effective oversight from the ownership. In my experience, the assistant to the owner is the gatekeeper to his ear - meaning that your problem doesn't come to his attention. I don't know if that is a problem for him, or his solution to a problem. Regardless, if you have a problem with this dealer, it is, indeed, your problem. More

Just bought our 3rd vehicle from Gary Rome Hyundai in Holyoke Ma.We bought a 2018 Tucson and traded in our 2016 Hyundai Elantra.We were just going there to look at the Xmas trees in the showroom.Salesper Holyoke Ma.We bought a 2018 Tucson and traded in our 2016 Hyundai Elantra.We were just going there to look at the Xmas trees in the showroom.Salesperson Maria Lepage helped us with the trees and then asked us if there was anything else she could help with.We looked at the cars before walking in and the Tuscon caught our eye. She gave us the keys to test drive it and were sold on it.They gave us a very fair trade in for it.The whole time working with Maria it was like catching up with an old friend.very relaxed and comfortable.Jason Cisek did our financing for us.We had worked with Jason before as a salesperson and a financer.He had all our paperwork ready very quickly and we drove off with the car fully detailed and inspected in about 5 hours.It was a great experience.Maria Lepage followed up with us twice after just to make sure we were happy with the vehicle and if we needed anything or had questions.We appreciated that. On 9/10 I dropped off my 2013 Elantra to do brakes, oil change, timing belt and check transmission as it was hit by metal in Springfield. Service said Hyundai would not cover it under ten warranty but call change, timing belt and check transmission as it was hit by metal in Springfield. Service said Hyundai would not cover it under ten warranty but call insurance. Insurance sent the appraiser in on 9/13 early morning. After trying to get info found out service ordered a new transmission on Monday. I called on Friday as being ignored by service the parts dept and no order was put in and service manager took over ordered transmission that arrived Monday and put in front of 16 waiting repairs as to the delay. On Wednesday the phones were down but I called Pauli who got service to call me and say car is ready. I explained the check from Insurance was on the way in mail and I would be in Thursday Morning. I dropped off the rental that I had to get as I assist elderly to appts all day. I went in Thursday to settle the $1,000 deductible and the $1500 in repairs that I had done. Servie was print out my bill and then was told I could not get car without the insurance check. I am paying $2500 but being held back for a $1300 check that had been mailed in Boston on Tuesday, 6 elderly missed their appointments, Pauli let me use his car until the mail arrived at 11AM but was not in the mail so my brother had to come from Ludlow to pick me up and today is Friday and if the check is not here 6 more elderly will not make appts and I will not have a car All over a check made out to you for $1300 that I would have brought over as soon as it arrives. I have been a loyal customer for over 8 years and have utilized the loaner program a number of times. I had to pay $1110 for the rental but will I be reimbursed as you have no loaners as promised when I bought the car in 2012. Please respond. Nick was a wonderful salesman to work with. He really cared about making my experience joyful and even came in on his off hours to ensure I had my new convertible to take to Cape Cod! The Service Dep cared about making my experience joyful and even came in on his off hours to ensure I had my new convertible to take to Cape Cod! The Service Dept was responsive and great with communication. The car’s battery died after 3 weeks. They replaced it with no questions asked. I’ve been very happy and impressed with Gary Rome. More
