We drive over 60+ miles to have service done at Gary Smith Honda even though there is a dealership in Panama City closer to our home in Panama City Beach. Almost all of our interactions with Honda of Panama City have been unpleasant, right from the time we purchased a vehicle from them. As an example, I was told an appointment was not necessary to have an oil change done on my Accord. When my husband and I arrived at their dealership for this service, we were told there was a 4 hour wait! We left without the service being done and haven't been back since. You can tell when employees like their jobs. It is evident in their attitude and demeanor and in the quality of the work performed on your vehicle. The employees at Gary Smith Honda are friendly and genuinely concerned about our needs as well as our vehicle's. I took my '01 Honda Accord in for a recall notice. A part for my airbag had to be ordered but came in very quickly. I do not enjoying shopping for new cars. I email shopped in 6 states for a Odyssey. I wanted a specific color exterior and interior with navigation. My van was ready and waiting for me just like I was told with all extra we had agreed on. All paper work with complete just as we had agreed via our emails. I drove home happy as a clam. Worried about licence fees ext. however the dealership responded promptly to my email and provide all necessary paperwork in a timely fashion to the tag office. My experience was very pleasant!
