The day after I purchased my Dodge Journey I wrote a review about u how wonderful and amazing everything had been. That night as I was letting my brother look over the final layout of the contract we noticed some disturbing things. The financial manager had added an extended warranty and service maintenance plan without ever asking us or telling us about it even after we had said several times we did not want the extended warranty. When we were signing papers we felt rushed and he didn't go into detail at all on the contract. When I went back the next day to talk to him about it his response was simply that that's the way it had been approved and we couldn't do anything about it. He could take off the extra $3000 it tacked on to the loan but our APR would go up or our payment would stay the same even though the bank would be financing less money. To me that didn't sound right so I spoke with the overal manager and he took off the maintenance and extended warranty and brought down our payments by about $60. If we had been listened to and if he had explained this from the start before we signed we could have avoided the entire situation. I left feeling like the integrity and trust was broken. The financial manager even went as far as to say that they make their money off the extended warranty and service plan when I asked why it was put on there in the first place without our consent. I am highly disappointed because at that point I wanted to return the car and was unable to but at least I got my payments lowered. I lost a lot of time and money by having to go up there to the dealership several times. And I did not receive any compensation for this mistake that was made on their part. I would not recommend working with Brandon beck and if you have to then check over everything clearly to make sure he doesn't screw you over. I would like to thank Rebecca fox for being very nice To us when we went in to sign the final contract and Ron Lovelace for getting our payments lowered and working with us.
