After months of researching pickup trucks, I had a specific idea and list of requirements for what I wanted before coming to Gates Chevy. Whenever I feel like a sales associate getting too pushy, I walk away because I'm also in sales and know the game, which is exactly what my wife and I did at a handful of other dealerships. Listening to my specific needs and asking the right follow up questions was something I frankly was not expecting from a car purchasing experience. Instead of trying to push me into options that. I don't want, Sam addressed every one of the items on my list for a new truck purchase. He went through the key differences between the trim levels, utilization features, and a thorough review of all the safety features that I wanted in a truck. I had a trade-in vehicle, which was purchased for a very fair value to both me and the dealership, which increased my trust because receiving pennies on a low ball offer is an instant dealbreaker for me. Sam worked out a deal with the financial team, which earned my trust. I didn't need to buy that day, but after the customer service I received, I knew that I had found the home for my next purchase. So far I've been beyond satisfied not only with my vehicle that surpassed my expectations, but more importantly Sam and the rest of his team treated me with dignity and a level of professionalism that is all too uncommon these days. Sam didn't even know until after I signed that my family is also looking for a another vehicle in just a few months when a lease ends. We will absolutely be returning back to Gates and working with Sam for another truck, either a second Silverado 1500 or a 2027 Colorado Trail Boss. I couldn't ask for a better buying experience from start to finish. Sam guided me to the best decision for my budget and needs, while Cody in finance answered my questions and went way beyond explaining the fine details of the financing. Gates Chevy treated me with total respect and engaged in active listening to guide me to a decision that I would not regret, which is wholly different from my previous 6 car purchases. Not very pleased. I purchased a 2019 Traverse and have had problems with it ever since. It feels like it's pulling something, like I'm pulling a trailer or something. They said it was moisture in the brakes and that they can't do anything about it. So, I have to drive around with brakes that are sometimes very loud, Sometimes I ease up to a stop to try to prevent the brakes from squeaking so loudly. I'm looking into trading it in. I've responded to feedback before, and I wonder if anyone in authority can help me. More
