I got charged 477. 00 for a spliced in two wire harness plug the size of a quarter, 20 minute job max! no parts had to be removed to access it. They neglected to see other wires that are exposed from a squirrel chewing the wires so the job is not complete. I don't mind paying for quality Workmanship but I refuse to give them anymore of my business. They know how I feel and acted like they could careless. I asked JD if he thought that was a fair price and I also asked for the mechanics documented time for the repair and he would not show me the time and said he thought it was a fair price. When they called me to tell me what they had to do in making the repair they made it sound like the harness needed to be replaced but alI l got was a spliced in plug end that can be purchased for just a few dollars. I now know that I can not afford to pay them for any major work done. I feel like it would most likely be wiser to buy from some other dealer. More
I had trouble when starting my car in the Hospital Parking garage. It started but was running real rough. The dealership sales experience was comfortable, not pushy. It felt like the team was working to get me what I wanted and not just get a sale. They began working on correcting the issues immediately. Financing took some time to work through, but again everything was geared towards my satisfaction with the purchase. Everything was open for questioning and review throughout the process. My family and I were all treated as valued customers and were updated regularly during the wait. Chad was as genuinely excited for me getting my vehicle as my family was. I will be back for maintenance and another vehicle when I need one. Keep smiling and being happy and excited about the product you sell and people feel that and seek that out. Standing behind the product gives the sense of safety and security that everyone needs with a major purchase. Thank you all! More
I had an appointment for an oil change and noticed my car sat in line 30 to 40 minutes before it was sent over to the service area. He said they have to get that straightened out. With an appointment I did not expect an oil change to take 85 minutes. More

It is because of Glen that I will never set foot on a Gates' lot ever again. He told me that I was wasting his time because I wouldn't agree to sell the vehicle to them BEFORE they offered me a price. How can I do that when the terms of the sale haven't been agreed upon? Very hard sell. Very confusingly hostile. I don't understand why anyone would want to treat a customer like this but since that time whenever someone mentions buying a car or asks about car lots I make sure to tell them that they should definitely avoid Gates because they're the worst. Also, it's pretty trivial compared to everything else, but: Glen said if I sold them the vehicle he would have a check for me in 7 to 10 days (and didn't pass up on the opportunity to respond in a dismissive and offensive manner when I expressed my thought that this time frame seemed a bit long). The dealership I did sell the truck to had a check ready for me the very next day. Gates is the worst. More

A liar lies about everything, not just some things!!! I sent pictures showing the dash wasn’t cracked. Everybody there denies it happened. But the dash wasn’t cracked until they talked me in to an airbag recall on the passenger side where the cracks now at, and when I got the truck back, I immediately noticed it and called them, and the lies begin. Right from the service managers mouth all the dashboards crack there! Well, mine wasn’t cracked and I’ve got pictures and several people when I bought the truck to attest that the dashboard was not cracked at all. We actually had remarked that it was in such a great condition. I had went in there for a couple fluid changes and flushes on the four-wheel drive, then they called me on the phone and everything‘s leaking underneath the truck, but not one drop of oil or any fluid was ever on my driveway, and we were under the truck and never seen any oil and there’s no oil on the frame at all yet still even after getting it back. But they called me and told me every hose underneath it was leaking and that needed to be replaced. Now I’m left to wondering if that was just lies as well. Liars lie about everything. I bought several vehicles from this place and serviced a lot of vehicles. Even had vehicles repaired at collision there and I’ve always had great service. It’s a shame that this is the reason that they’re going to choose for me not to come back for anything ever again. I even had to pay to have the oil re-changed after they changed it with the wrong oil and clearly marked it on the paperwork that it was the wrong oil, the motor now has a knock in it from the wrong oil but you can’t discuss that with them either because they just deny everything!!! More
