I did a lot of online research to find the car best suited for my current needs. I could have gone to a closer local dealership, but I immediately got a good feeling about Gates after talking to Nick (one of the managers) and then Tara who did all the work in organizing my purchase. Even having to drive an hour for this purchase, I'm very glad I chose to go to Gates because (something about being in the country, perhaps?) the service is impeccable. Tara is very professional, confident, accommodating, and super efficient in getting things done so that my time at the dealership was made as simple and swift as could be. We found one at Gates and after still looking around, we found a couple more. Our first call didn't result in anything. We looked again for the Gates car but it wasn't on gurus anymore. I called and they said it was being sold. A few days later andrew contacted us and said the car was still available. We went to go look at it a few days later and were shown a very nice, well maintained VW. Andrew was very helpful on all our questions about the car. We were shown the service dept and the rest of the dealership. We went over a few things and walked out with the car. Chris the finance manager was also very helpful. I would recommend Gates to any I know looking for a mv. More
