Waited over 2 hours for an oil change despite having an appointment. Was promised a courtesy car wash which did not happen. Seat was adjusted and not returned to original position. Cody Mills in the service department did an absolutely amazing job on my vehicle. I have an older Chevy and care for it very much being it my only form of transportation. I took it into Gateway Chevy service and worked with Cody Mills and the service was 10/10 kept my car in great shape, did exactly what was asked and even helped me understand whats to come! I felt very good and very confident driving my vehicle for the first week after it's major service with them. Runs better than ever! Went in to pick up my new Silverado June 4, 2024. Upon final inspection and me giving them the check a paint blemish was found. Body shop said they would contact me a soon as a loaner vehicle was available. I never heard back from them again. Today is July 17, 2024 and still nobody has reached out to me. I have left several messages and still no call back. THEY JUST TOOK MY MONEY AND FORGOT ALL ABOUT ME. I have purchased 3 pickup trucks from Ford in the past.... I decide to give Chevrolet a try and this is what I get? I guess I have to drive in to have this problem resolved. More
My salesman was fine (Adrian Guzman). It was the 2+ hour wait that I experienced, after coming to agreement on the price of the truck, that left me dejected. After we agreed a a price, we were just left waiting for over 2 hours before we continued with signing paperwork. Two hours! I've never heard of anyone waiting that long. As my fiancee and I sat waiting, we had to put up with music and loud talking and laughing all around us. The inside environment was like a grocery store...and a grocery store where people act as if they're at home and talk about personal stuff loud enough to where other people can hear. The environment was very unprofessional. We waited so long that it got to the point where I told our salesman that I was leaving. It was that bad. I felt the main concern was selling the vehicle because once I agreed on a price, we were left alone waiting for hours. Honestly, I won't be going back to Gateway Chevrolet. I'm sure if I had looked long enough, I would've found the same truck for the same price elsewhere. You have to realize that everyone has inventory and everyone can flex with pricing, but not everyone knows how to treat people in such a good way that those people are convinced that no other dealership is going to treat them better. I was on my way out of town when the oil light came on. ..this was just 2weeks after having my vehicle serviced at Gateway Chevrolet so we decided to immediately change our plans return to the dealership to ..this was just 2weeks after having my vehicle serviced at Gateway Chevrolet so we decided to immediately change our plans return to the dealership to find out why the light is on by the way we had no appointment but under the circumstances we needed answers and thanks to the prompt response of the fine service manager on this day all of my fears were put to rest the vehicle was carefully taken back looked at closely to alleviate any concerns I had and my vehicle returned to me in perfect working condition. More
