My wife and I spent all day visiting dealerships in the Merritt Island-Cocoa-Melbourne-Palm Bay area dealership and the salesman Edwin “Eddy” Otero. My wife and I spent all day visiting dealerships in the Merritt Island-Cocoa-Melbourne-Palm Bay area looking for a used SUV under $10,000 and under 100,000 miles. None of the other dealerships we visited listened to what we were searching for. One dealership took us out on the lot to show us a Ford Taurus car. We laughed at the salesman (I guess he thought it was a SUV). Anyway, when we arrived at Gator, we were met by “Eddy”. He immediately listened to what we were searching for and led us to the used 2003 Saturn Vue. It met our criteria! We test drove the SUV, came back and closed the deal. My wife and I have bought a few cars in our lifetime and I must say “we just experienced one of the best car buying experiences”. Thanks Gator and “Eddy”! More

Being new to the area I was leary on where to go for a used car purchase I could feel good about so I started with the dealers. Debbie Patton was the sales agent I was assigned to and she was so friendly and determined to get me a good car. She made the shopping experience fun as we combed the different lots. She wasn't pushy and if she felt a car wasn't a wise choice for me, steered me the other direction until the right thing came along...which it did! Just last evening after dealing with Debbie for a couple weeks and checking your website almost daily, we found the perfect car for me. I had decided after my first meeting with Debbie though that I would buy from her. I was confident of that. I felt good with her on a personal level, as a person first, and salesperson second. I looked around a little bit online at other dealers/independent car lots but I was inclided to wait until Debbie came up with something good. It was such a positive experience all round and Charlie the sales mgr was great in every respect. I felt at home with Gator and will continue to do business with them. Mr. Otero answered all of our questions and spent as much time with us as needed. We never felt rushed or pressured. I received a recall on the convertible top on my Crossfire. I called Gator Chrysler and told them so. We scheduled an appt to bring the car in. When I arrived I was greeted by Roger MacCardle. He looked at my letter and we went to his computer where he reviewed my information with me. He then escorted me to the cashier and she printed my receipt. Roger told me an order for my top would be sent that day and I would be contacted for an appt to replace my top as soon as it had been received. I got a call from Gator Chrysler, I cannot remember the lady's name, I'm sorry, she was very nice and accomadating to my schedule. We made an appt for a few days later. The day before the appt I received a friendly reminder call. I arrived at the dealership and was again greeted by Roger MacCardle. We signed the car in and he told me they would call me when the work was finished. I received the call a few hours later. When I arrived Roger again greeted me and as we walked into the cashier's office he explained to me about the new top and that I should let it sit in the sun for a few hours and let it get stretched out and seeded. It had been folded up in a box for quite awhile and it needed to breathe and stretch and I was not to put it up and down for a few days. He asked if I had any questions. He wished me well and thanked me for my time and business. Roger is a great guy. This is not the first time I have dealt with him. When I first bought my car a year ago from across the state I took the car in to "someplace else" that I thought would be cheaper to have it gone over and checked out from top to bottom. It turned out this other place was not at all familiar with the vehicle and created an unnecessary and potentially very expensive problem. I called Gator Chrysler and explained my problem and they had me bring the car in immediately. They went over the car and fixed the problem, explained everything to me and the cost was much cheaper than I would have expected from a dealership. Roger was very understanding, patient and helpful. He always seems happy to be there and to help me out. My car is now ONLY serviced by Gator Chrysler. Thanks to all of you for your friendliness, time and patience, knowledge and fine work! If you have to have the work done - get it done right the first time - fair and affordably at Gator Chrysler. More
