List price of vehicle in website was $19,800. Salesman (Matthew Reich) then tells me the “out the door price” would $27,200 due to some garbage “gator perks” which ultimately means they wash and Salesman (Matthew Reich) then tells me the “out the door price” would $27,200 due to some garbage “gator perks” which ultimately means they wash and clean the car they are selling… AND a $1000 fee for not using ford financing!?! What an absolute con artist. More
So bought a pre owned car. Spent a good amount of money for it. Clean car fax, car was great until I had to refill the washer fluid. So I had even asked the dealer ship if car Spent a good amount of money for it. Clean car fax, car was great until I had to refill the washer fluid. So I had even asked the dealer ship if car had ever been in an accident. Salesman said no and car fax was clean. However it’s obvious by the missing bolts, paint overspray on teh headlight, and the fact that the prop rod for the hood doesn’t stay in place because it wasn’t assembled right in the first place and if I was a little quicker I’m refilling the washer fluid, I would have had my hand crushed by the hood. So why did they inflate the price of the car when they didn’t even do anything other than clean the car?? Wonder how many florida Statutes we broken on the sale of this car??? Yes I have legal representation and they will be contacting the corporate office on Monday March 28gh More
Reached out to simply confirm availability. Had to ask three or four times for a price. Unfortunately, they had a higher price than any of the statewide available ones at other dealers. What a joke of a company. Call on a Mini Cooper they have listed on multiple sites at various prices.. Listed on 3rd party sites for $15,684... On their personal site listed at $16,900.. Told they wo have listed on multiple sites at various prices.. Listed on 3rd party sites for $15,684... On their personal site listed at $16,900.. Told they won't honor the price that THEY placed on 3rd party sites. Worse still, they have the nerve to INSIST on nearly $4k in "Gator Perk" and doc fees.. In the end, acting like it's a good deal for me to pay over $4k MORE than retail value on KBB. Worse still, been on their lot for well over 60 days, and they are "upside down on it.". After traditional taxes, the car is being sold "at a deal" of nearly $23k!!!! Run like xxxx from these shady dealers.. God knows there's no shortage of Ford dealers around. More
Contacted with question about inventory and partner program, got back "I am busy here is list of thing I need from you". Not a good first impression, especially since I've talked to over 20 dealers in program, got back "I am busy here is list of thing I need from you". Not a good first impression, especially since I've talked to over 20 dealers in past 3 days and this was most unprofessional and un-welcoming reply. More
Service department is a JOKE - I made an appointment two weeks out from the appointment date. I arrived at the scheduled time and they told me it's be up to 48 hours before they looked at it. Well, 48 hours weeks out from the appointment date. I arrived at the scheduled time and they told me it's be up to 48 hours before they looked at it. Well, 48 hours come and go and I hear nothing. i call and after some running around they determine that the vehicle hasn't been even looked at and they had no idea when they'd get to it. Save your time and stay away from Gator Ford. More
BUYER BEWARE!!! There was a difference of $2,399, BUYER BEWARE!!! There was a difference of $2,399, between the website price and the price they charged before adding all the taxes and other fees. I BUYER BEWARE!!! There was a difference of $2,399, between the website price and the price they charged before adding all the taxes and other fees. I realized after receiving the printout (which asked to be mailed to me), was charged $299 for appearance protection, $184 third-party private tag agency, $199 Electronic Registration filing fee, and of course their $999 predelivery fee. I knew about the $999 predelivery fee, but not the other fees. To make it right, truly believe they should send me a check for $1,400! This would be the $2,399 - $999 = $1,400 (I knew about the $999) Have asked for the service report on what was done before the Audi went on their lot, to date have not received. DO NOT SIGN ON THE DESK before reading the printout. More
