We bought our Camry from this dealership and have had services done there also. Nancy Voss kept us advised of the serve progress for having our drive belt replaced. I have been very pleased with the service but even with appointments it seems there are unusually long wait times even for normal checkups and oil change. I sat 4 hrs waiting for my car, as I did not hear my phone text after 2 hrs. At 4 hrs, I went back to fellow who had checked me in. I asked him what happened to my supposedly 2 hr expected wait time. phone text after 2 hrs. At 4 hrs, I went back to fellow who had checked me in. I asked him what happened to my supposedly 2 hr expected wait time. I sat in the waiting room the whole time. The fellow had my car keys & knew my car had been put out front. He started telling me how busy they were & the young lady next to him starting chiming in with her diatribe of how 8 people were out. The excuse was: they couldn’t walk the short distance to where I was sitting to get me. I said, “In other words, you can’t be bothered with good customer service and doing what you SHOULD do. I was told “no”. I told the young man that With that kind of attitude I thought I needed to look for another place to take my car. He said “”That’s fine”. As bad as the attitude of these two individuals up front, they should be taught they don’t make excuses, and they don’t complain about others not being at work, and they don’t act cavalier about losing customers. What is even more infuriating is that after all that sitting time, nothing was found. Absolutely nothing. I got a check list that was all checked off uniformly. I was told, summarily, they didn’t find anything. Now: I was not charged for anything. And frankly, I’m not sure they really checked anything. I had asked that all fluid levels be checked & filled, wiper blades be checked & that everything be looked over for any maintenance necessary. The main thing I wanted checked was the shake that would occur when I would stop or slow in traffic, as if maybe air & fuel mix wasn’t quite right due to dirty filters or such somewhere. Apparently, mechanic doesn’t think that exists. However, it has, & is noticeable at times. I am over 70 anda widow & I don’t like leaving repairs until a car becomes dysfunctional. So, for the first time, I am very displeased with Gatorland Toyota. Ironically, on my Nextdoor Neighborhood app there had just been multiple negative threads posted about Gatorland Toyota. Service was bad, & you are now charging customers the cost your business pays for card usages relative to payments. General consensus was that your dealership is no longer what it used to be. I agree. If your people are unhappy, uncaring & unprofessional & ill-trained, that is a management problem. So I will be another PAST customer looking for car services elsewhere. Katherine Hula More
