I have a new F150 Lightning that recommended a 10,000 service appointment. That should have included a check of the cooling system for the battery but the service person did not know any of this. Process was decent enough. Salesman was helpful when I wanted to have the vehicle checked by my mechanic. If I could I would give this dealership a 0 or a negative 5 I had a 7:15 appointment for an oil change that I had a $9.95 coupon for. I arrived before 7:10. I was told by one of the gentlemen sitting as 5 I had a 7:15 appointment for an oil change that I had a $9.95 coupon for. I arrived before 7:10. I was told by one of the gentlemen sitting as you walk in that he could not help me because I had been assigned to someone else. K told him that I needed to be finished as soon as possible as I had a 9:15 doctor’s appointment I also told him I needed to speak with whom ever I was assigned to because I had another problem I needed to discuss with him. I was told he was not there at that time. I told the first gentleman I would be waiting in the adjacent area when he arrived. He took my keys and said he would get them to him. I never got to talk to him until after the work was already being done at 8:55. I was charged over $70 for an oil change. I did not ask for any thing else yo be done to my vehicle and I was very explicit that i need it done quickly yet I was late for my doctors appointment. I do not know how it could possibly take nearly 2 hours to change the oil in a vehicle. This us the second time this has happened to me at Messer Ford. I have driven a Ford F150 for most of my adult life and tjis is the only dealership that I have ever had any problems with. All of the others have changed my oil and had my truck ready in 30 minutes max. I was so upset the last time this happened that I drove to Stillwater Oklahoma to buy a new truck in late December without even checking the inventory at messer Ford. I will never purchase a vehicle nor have a vehicle serviced there again even if it means driving to Oklahoma or New Mexico to get service. More
