Folks, DO NOT do business with Gene Messer Kia. I tried to sell them my vehicle, got an offer online, went in with the offer email details. I got their and they cut the offer by $2,000. The car-buy I tried to sell them my vehicle, got an offer online, went in with the offer email details. I got their and they cut the offer by $2,000. The car-buyer manager guy came out to explain why I was wrong, and that the offer email didn't matter, and he didn't even care that I had it. His posture, tone, eye contact (or lack of) were unprofessional. I walked out on him while he was in the middle of putting me down, essentially. I've never walked out on anyone, and I've never filled out a Google review, and I don't remember ever recommending that all friends, family and acquaintances avoid a particular business. I did all three today - that's no way to do business. I know I was in the right because after I left, they went in to their system and changed the offer to the lower amount in the online portal. Bottom line - don't do business with Gene Messer Kia. My experiences at the other dealerships haven't been so bad, but Gene Messer Kia has been a bad one. More
