Worst service department I’ve ever been to. I will not be returning. I’ve used them twice recently for two vehicles (2017 Tacoma and 1998 Land Cruiser). The first time they just didn’t even do all the services I requested just this past week gave me my Land Cruiser back with a busted CV - worst than I was when I brought it in. Not that this matters, but they even wrote “Toyota Land Rover” on my paperwork. Maybe you should be working somewhere else if you don’t even know what a Land Cruiser is. More
Poor customer service, we recently purchased a ‘26 Toyota Crown, the whole process took approximately 4 hours. We did not understand what was taking so long but little did we know the salesman (Gustavo) was Crown, the whole process took approximately 4 hours. We did not understand what was taking so long but little did we know the salesman (Gustavo) was trying to make two vehicle sales simultaneously. During the initial test drive, Gustavo was either texting or talking to somebody else on the phone, we had to grab his attention just to answer a question or two. we gave him the benefit of the doubt at the time but little did we know the process was about to get much worse. While in the dealership we did more waiting for him rather than doing business with him about our purchase. After purchasing the vehicle, Gustavo gave us little information about the technology, his idea was for us to YouTube it after we got home.. He even forgot to install the water plugs and suggested I do it myself, I understand. It is a very easy task, but with everything else, it just added to my frustration. We had also negotiated in floor mats as Gustavo explained the floor mats will be in our mail within the next five days. I will include pictures, but the floor mats that was sent to us were used and still dirty from the previous vehicle. After spending 50K plus on a vehicle, we expect more from a VERY respected dealership. Gustavo even called to think us for the purchase of our new TRUCK, I said we bought a car and hung up on him. If it wasn’t so difficult to locate 2026 Toyota crowns at the moment we would’ve walked away and just went to another dealership.. More

I purchased a new 2025 rav4 premium in August. I paid to have heated seats installed and front windows tinted. I was told that it would be a 1 day job when I purchased the car. When I brought the car in for the installation I was told they would need my car for 3 days. When I questioned that, they said possibly they could get it that day. I received an email later that day, that they would need my car overnight. When I checked on it the next day, I was told that a technician was working on it and as soon as he was finished it would go to have the front windows tinted. This went on for 3 days. Then I find out from my salesman, when he went to check on it, they had been lying to me the whole time, my car had been sitting there ‘untouched’ for 3 days. I finally got my car back 5 days later on a 1 day installation. When I picked it up I found that they had damaged the cup holder. They ordered the part, and I brought it back 2 weeks later to have the cup holder fixed, only to find out 3 hours after I brought it in, that they had ordered the wrong part. So I had to bring it back the next week. I Have been a loyal Toyota owner for 11 years. I have never had an issue with the service department until now. At this point they have destroyed my trust in Gene Messer Service Department. More
Amanda Gonzales is the best service advisor I have ever encountered. (I have dealt with the worst advisors ever at Gene Messer VW and Pollard Ford.). So far I am amazed and impressed with the professionali encountered. (I have dealt with the worst advisors ever at Gene Messer VW and Pollard Ford.). So far I am amazed and impressed with the professionalism I have found at Gene Messer Toyota. From the salesman to the service advisor; all top notch! I have no problem believing the mechanics are of the same caliber when they eventually service my Camry’s needs. More
