Headline: This dealer lacks courtesy and professionalism. Like no other car buying experience I have ever had and not in a good way. I found the new vehicle I wanted on the dealer's websit professionalism. Like no other car buying experience I have ever had and not in a good way. I found the new vehicle I wanted on the dealer's website. I called to enquire about it. I was told it was available and given other details about the vehicle. As it was a new vehicle and I am familiar with the make and model, a test drive was not really necessary. I enquired about the price and if there were any rebates I may qualify for. The salesperson indicated he had to check with his manager and would call be back. Over 4 hours later, still no call back. I called to ask and was told he still was trying to talk to his manager and would call me back the next morning. The next morning, no call back. I tried to call around mid-day and left a message indicating I was ready to move on the vehicle and was told someone would call me back shortly. We are now 5 days later and guess what, no one has bothered to call me back. If they sold the vehicle or there was some other problem, a call back would have been the courteous and professional way to handle it. In the end, I purchased my second choice vehicle some place else. It was almost like this dealer did not want to sell a new vehicle which I just do not understand which I find quite strange. My advice would be take your business elsewhere especially if they cannot even give a customer common courtesy and professionalism. More
