I would like to begin by sincerely apologizing to BoughtElsewhere. George Harte Nissan is committed to 100% Customer Satisfaction and it sounds as if we let you down in this regard. The vehicle that BoughtElsewhere wanted to purchase was not on our lot, but we had secured it from another dealership as a "locate". When the Nissan dealership who was supposed to trade the car to us reviewed it, they noticed that it had been damaged in the storage facility. Not wanting to deliver a damaged vehicle, our sales management staff attempted to procure the vehicle from another dealership who had it in stock. After several days they informed us that they were unwilling to trade the car to us. I certainly apologize for our lack of communication in this matter. George Harte Nissan is committed to 100% Customer Satisfaction. Unfortunately, George Harte Nissan does not maintain what qualifies under warantee coverage and what does not, Nissan does that. PFalcone brougt his vehicle in for issues that would normally be covered under warantee, however, upon investigation, it was uncovered that the primary cause of the distress was due to a parking brake spring, which is not covered under warantee. Since the primary issue was not under warantee, damages caused by that primary issue are also not covered. George Harte Nissan willingly preforms any work that Nissan is willing to cover, but cannot mandate what they are willing to fix and what they are not. We are sorry for any inconveneice this may have caused this customer.
