Hi my name is Rozell Bozeman and I bought a 2009 Chevrolet Trailblazer from George Matick Chevrolet of Redford MI. I found the Truck online and thought it was a small dealer, to my surprise as I dro Chevrolet Trailblazer from George Matick Chevrolet of Redford MI. I found the Truck online and thought it was a small dealer, to my surprise as I drove up I felt like I was in a candy store. The variety was amazing from exotic Corvettes to family cars and everything in between. My salesman Martin Kersey was very professional and he answered all my questions and he was very knowledgeable of all the trucks that test drove. I was introduced to the staff and I felt like a family there. I'm will definitely coming back to purchase my next Chevrolet vehiclel. Thank you Martin Kersey, Rozell Bozeman. More
My experience at this dealership has been horrible since the first day I purchased my car. (Which it was the worst day of my life.) My 2009 Malibu certified pre-own car within the first month I got it neede the first day I purchased my car. (Which it was the worst day of my life.) My 2009 Malibu certified pre-own car within the first month I got it needed to have a transmission rebuilt. Some of the locks on the car stopped working. To do those repairs it took them 3 to 4 different attempts to find out what the problem even was. They kept trying to make me feel like I was stupid until I started to test drive the car with them in the car. Then all of sudden it was "oh I see". They never did use to go pass the parking lot to test drive a car. It took them a total of a month and 3 different rental cars later before I was able to drive my "new car." The only thing I think they really fix on the car the first time was the doors. Now those don't even work anymore. The same exact door they so called repaired when I told them about it before. They didn't even have it logged correctly in the system to recognize I had it looked at already. It stated " the right rear driver door" If I can remember the driver side has always been on the left side. They tried to make me pay them to repair it when it was doing the exact same thing that they had repaired already. I don't trust the work they do to the car because you will end up replacing the same parts eventually in the future. The customer service is horrible. They never can give you a straight answer as to what is wrong. It take them forever to fix your car. A simple oil change takes them hours to do even with an appointment. They never want to take responsibility for screwing up your car. I won't recommend "ANYONE TO GET A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP." NOT UNLESS YOU TAKE A MECHANIC AND A LAWYER WITH YOU. More
They priced the used G6 I was interested in as being in excellent condition and offered a CPO warranty with it. I really liked it and looked great. But when I had a trusted and independent mechanic check excellent condition and offered a CPO warranty with it. I really liked it and looked great. But when I had a trusted and independent mechanic check it out, it was not in "excellent" condition. They missed 2 major problems in their "172 point inspection". When i went back to discuss the major oversite in their inspection of this car, they refused to believe me, even with a written estimate. Then they said the problems were within GM's tolerances and they REFUSED to fix the problems. How the heck they could say that a broken and leaking strut and a very loose ball joint are within GM's tolerances, is beyond arrogance. And i also found out that the other shocks were at the recommended point to be replaced. Again, they refused to fix the problems. They wouldn't even bother to put it on a lift to verify the problems. Just a flat "no". No options, no negotiating, no apologies. Since my offer was based on it being in excellent condition as they said it was, i withdrew my offer and killed the deal. The car was totally misrepresented to me. I thought the GM CPO program meant something, evidently not to these guys. Their mechanic missed 2 major problems and they refused to acknowledge them. So much for their goal of "complete customer satisfaction".... **moral of the story: When shopping for a car here, no matter what they say, ALWAYS have the car checked out by a 3rd party, to protect your interest. Because once the deal is signed, you will have no recourse with this dealership, if problems show up a week or 2 later. They are not there to make friends, just to make sales on their terms. Thank God i had the foresight to have this G6 checked out beforehand, or I would have been stuck shelling out and extra $1100 for an "excellent" car. Interestingly enough, they put the car back up for sale and raised the price....right after i showed them the estimate to make the repairs. More
I found the Camaro I wanted and emailed them to find out what the bottom line price was. I got an email from Anna who gave me the pricing and explained how they worked. When I got to the dealership to loo what the bottom line price was. I got an email from Anna who gave me the pricing and explained how they worked. When I got to the dealership to look at it first hand, Dan took me on the test drive and knew everything I wanted to know. I was impressed at how quick things went and how pleasant everyone seemed. I met with the Finance Manager and there wasn't any surprises or nonsense. I went to another 2 dealers before this one, and I'll return to Matick. It was just easy and friendly. Thanks Dan and Anna! I appreciated the low-pressure sales environment that this dealer had to offer. I wasn't bum-rushed as I walked through the door but was greeted and they let me take my time. The lease of my new Malibu this dealer had to offer. I wasn't bum-rushed as I walked through the door but was greeted and they let me take my time. The lease of my new Malibu went really smoothly and there weren't any surprises when I actually saw the payment, which was nice for a change. I couldn't help but notice how friendly the people there were. It seems like the people are treated well and enjoy being there. Rich was fantastic, easy to get along with and absolutely no pressure. I'll be back when my wife's lease is up to get something from him again. Thanks for a good experience. More
This is my fourth car from Matick Chevy. Friendly and fast service as always. Took care of my old lease details while setting up my new lease. Brought the new car out to me--which is over an hour away. A fast service as always. Took care of my old lease details while setting up my new lease. BEST CHEVY DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN 35 YEARS!!!! My first car buying experience will for sure not be my last. I visited two other chevy dealerships in the area and was highly disappointed YEARS!!!! My first car buying experience will for sure not be my last. I visited two other chevy dealerships in the area and was highly disappointed. The Southfield dealer in his new "state of the art" showroom must have been too busy pouring a latte because I stood around for 5 minutes before being greeted with "whats up, sir?". Are you kidding me? Whats up? I then went to Marty Feldman and was given a quote on my Equinox of about $45 per month higher then what I got from the BEST CHEVY DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN 35 YEARS, MATICK CHEVROLET. When I walked in, I was greeted with enthusiasm and a genuine smile by Greg Tyler. He took the time to listen to me and my wife and what we were looking for. Pat Woolworth, the sales manager, extended a warm greeting during the process and indicated he would be handling the pricing and finance options. When the Equinox came up from detail, the man who cleaned it offered a congratulations and nice smile. All in all, BEST CHEVY DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN 35 YEARS!!!! I WILL BE BACK! Thank you to the entire Matick staff. A real example of fantastic customer experience. William Olsen More
What a great experience with the Matick folks. After an accident recently, my Insurance Agent recommended I take my car to Matick Chevrolet to be repaired in their Body Shop. There was a Chevy store close accident recently, my Insurance Agent recommended I take my car to Matick Chevrolet to be repaired in their Body Shop. There was a Chevy store closer to my home in Southfield but I decided to listen to her advice and take my car down to Matick. I couldn't be more satisfied with my decision. The Body Shop employees made me feel welcome and kept me informed throughout the repair process. I was able to see my car every day being repaired and I got a nice new Cruze to drive while they repaired it. I didn't know what to expect, I've never been in an accident as bad as the one I was in - but when my Malibu got back to me it was unrecognizable! It looked about 5x better than when it went in and I felt like I got my new car back!!! When I picked it up, they explained what they did and helped me process everything with my insurance. I couldn't be more happy! THANK YOU! More

I have increased my ratings of this dealership since my review below. Anna called and apologized and offered to send us a gas card for coming out there. I do appreciate the gesture and increased customer review below. Anna called and apologized and offered to send us a gas card for coming out there. I do appreciate the gesture and increased customer service. We were interested in an 2008 Buick they had advertised on cargurus.com with a DVD and Navigation system. We spoke to Anna before and told her that we had the same car on hold at another dealership, but it didn't have leather seats, a DVD system, or navigation. We drove an hour to get to the dealership to test drive the car with the intention of buying it. When we got there, Anna told us that it's a really nice car to have with kids since it has the DVD system. When the sales person, Clark, pulled the car up, it did not have a DVD system, Navigation system, or leather seats. Clark went back to speak with Anna and came back and told us that whomever entered the data made an error. Neither one of them apologized. Anna didn't even come back out to speak with us directly when the error was hers. I would never buy a car from this dealership or recommend them. It's false advertising and a waste of 2 hours out of our day and our gas money. This car was also more expensive than a 2009 model at another dealership with the same miles. Shop around, you'll find a better deal and more honest employees. When someone tells you they're driving an hour to your dealership to test drive and buy a specific car, how hard is it to pull up the information in your system to make sure you and the buyer are on the same page?
