I had several issue's that occurred with my Chevy truck on a Saturday morning. I took my truck to George Moore Chevrolet at about 10 am. Being in the automotive service industry for over 20 years, as a tec on a Saturday morning. I took my truck to George Moore Chevrolet at about 10 am. Being in the automotive service industry for over 20 years, as a technician and service advisor, I had no expectations of them being able to look at my truck that day. I dropped it off ,one, so no other failures or damage could occur because of the current issue. It drove fine but the cooling system was not functioning correctly (was not an overheating issue) but this one issue was causing another part of the same system to not work at all, and one other system to not work either. The other reason to drop it off that day is so they would have my truck first thing Monday morning. I met my service advisor Didi she actually met me at my vehicle but I was looking for the person I've used in the past and that person was not there that day, so I went ahead and worked with Didi. I was glad I did. I told Didi that I did not expect for the truck to be looked at that day. It was a Saturday and my past experience those days are very busy. So I wanted to take the stress off of her and let her know that the "ONLY" expectation I had was to communicate with me and keep me updated, that was it. We went over what was going on with the truck and some other concerns I had. From the meet and greet in the service lane and discussing my other concerns, she was just unbelievable. She listened, showed concern and empathy for my concerns as if it were her vehicle. That impressed me, she was VERY personable, I noticed that immediately. Those 2 things started making me comfortable right off the bat, it was something I very much appreciated. No matter what, when you have to take your vehicle in for repairs or service, it is very stressful, even if you call to setup an appointment, the stress will start right then, how much is it gonna cost, how long is it gonna a take to fix, and so on and so on. So as I said, Didi was started reducing my stress level right at the beginning. Didi was very thorough with understanding all my concerns and displayed that during the right up process. I read what she had wrote before I signed, and she was again very thorough and clear about what we discussed. She called me later that afternoon to let me know that it was dispatched and ready to be looked at on Monday. I called about 10 or 11 on Monday because there was something I forgot to mention to her and to let her know to move forward with 2 maintenance services we had briefly talked about on Saturday. Before we got there she let me know that my vehicle was complete and she was finishing my paperwork and wanted to get that done before she called me. I was like wow, she had ready to be looked at first thing as she said she did, and thankfully it was not a huge repair. We got the additional services done and it was ready actually sooner then she told me it would be. She even reached out to me "HER SELF" the following day to make sure i was satisfied with the repairs andbthe services that were done and wanted to know if my truck was operating correctly and if I needed anything else. Most service departments have someone to do that for the advisors. She mad sure she did that on her own, for me that was just the cherry on top of the great service experience I had already received from her. Long story short, Didi was just GREAT to work with from start to finish. Her personality, professionalism, her empathy, she took care of me as if she was taking care of her family members vehicle. I was grateful to have met and been able to work with and have Didi take care of my truck. Yes the experience involves the technicians and that person did a great job, very pleased. But the process started and ended with Didi, and there is nothing else that she could have done or needed to do to make my experience better, to me she exceptional. I will certainly be looking for Didi in the future for my service needs, and I would strongly recommend her to others. More
