I began researching vehicles in May and made a few test drives at several dealerships, even though I wasn't looking to purchase until August/September. One of my stops was at Gerald Hyundai where I was fortunate to meet Kyle Burg. He was polite, professional and respected my desire to purchase at a later date. Even though I wasn't going to purchase that day, he still took the time to show me both the Tucson and Santa Fe Sport, answer my questions and take me for test drives. Kyle's professionalism and courtesy was one of the many reasons I returned in September. He tirelessly worked at finding the perfect 2016 Santa Fe Sport that exceeded all of my expectations. He is a bright, polite and energetic young salesman. Gerald Hyundai should have him train all of their other sales people on customer service. At the end, it was off to the dreaded sales office to hear the various warranty packages and specials. I had a blast with Dan Mason. The experience was fun and full of laughs. It was one that Dan won't soon forget and should be used as a training video for all their employees on how to have fun with customers. This is my fourth vehicle purchased at a Gerald dealership, but my first Hyundai. I can't say enough about Kyle Burg and Dan Mason. They are both class acts that will make your experience a fun one! I was at Darcy Hyundai in Joliet to turn in my 3rd Sonata and left due to their attitudes. I felt as though I was inconveniencing them in trying to lease a new vehicle. I mentioned the great website offers at Gerald Hyundai and the salesman said perhaps I should go there then. SO I DID and I am so glad! While it was a little further away they made it worth the trip. Unfortunately we were not able to really inspect the vehicles until the next morning at which point we found some damage to the driver side door. Nick Smiley ensured us it would be taken care of. It's been three weeks and we are still waiting for parts for a 2015 Elantra, which I find a bit hard to believe. I hope Gerald Hyundai hasn't forgot about us!! Other than that, our experience met our expectations. More
