For about 6 weeks regarding the models we wanted, and pricing etc. We were told the exact car we wanted was available and came in at the time that was confirmed by Frank. There were two cars we were going to purchase. Upon arrival at our confirmed appt time, he was great, however we waited over an hour after the test drive, as he was with other clients. We wanted to just get the car, pay and go. I had the written quote he had given me, as well as the specs and cross rails detailed. That price was $23650 before any trade ins or rebates, etc. In the finance office, I inquired as to why the price was $24650 and that finance manager kept saying that this was a clerical way they had to run it, and that it would come out to that price in the end. I was stupid and tired. It was past 10pm when we were in the room, and having been waiting over 2 hours between the other guests, we were exhausted. When I got home, I took time to read the contract over again, as well as the written communication from Frank, and we were overcharged $1000. We feel we were rushed out, as they literally turned the lights off and ushered us out as we were leaving the finance office. I'm sure you have cameras and can check this. It was dark in the lot as Frank quickly showed us basic button features of the car. The worked all left before we, the customer even left the lot. I will also note, that we were given the cross rails in a box, and the blue link was never set up, and we are unable to get it working. We have no clue how to install the cross rails, as there aren't any instructions in the box! Overall, this time, the service was not as expected, because of, the wait time, the car not having the cross rails per our request,and the clerical error in pricing. We did not want a measly set of removable cross rails. Online, your site states the car is able to have this, and it is direct from the factory. I had even contacted Hyundai and corrected Frank before coming in, because he stated the Kona was not able to have cross rails at all. Why online is that offered? Why did Hyundai customer service tell us this was offered and permanent? We were overcharged by $1000 and I would like to know what our options are to rectify this. I have tried to call the dealership, emailed the GM, as well as text Frank, but have had no response. Update, upon writing a review, Frank contacted me and stated the quote he gave included the rebate. More

If we ever needed service (rarely needed it since Hyundai’s are very reliable) they would give us a loaner car for however long we needed! The car buying process with Gerald is extremely easy, even though this is the first brand new car we have bought (all previous have been one year old). We just purchased a 2019 fully loaded Santa Fe AWD for a few thousand dollars off asking. Very competitive pricing, and makes sure your always taken care of. We had gone to Elgin Hyundai and they were in the process of selling a car that we asked to pull aside. They claimed it was a Certified on their website with picture saying it was, but we found out we needed to pay about $2,000 to do so. We then found out it had been in a severe accident, so they can’t certify it? So I would recommend not going to Elgin Hyundai and instead go to Gerald! (Always ask for Brian York!) More

Karim really listened to what I was looking for in a vehicle and focused on what was important to me and got me set up in a car that I love. I really appreciate the time that he took to assist us when we were already tired and helped speed us along to get us out as soon as possible. More

best car shopping experience,EVER! I had truly planned to get quotes from three dealerships. I was very p[leased with the deal I was given, the lifetime warranty, the interest rate I go I had truly planned to get quotes from three dealerships.
