I questioned the price of the part and the service writer gave me the part number. I could easily locate the part on several sites, including another Ford Dealership. Gerald Jones charged $347 for the part, but I could find the part starting at $164 as the lowest to $249. The $249 was a Ford Dealer’s price. When I talked with the Service writer, he said we needed to talk to the parts department. We talked with them and shared the pricing from 3 different places, including Ford, they simply said it was a supply and demand issue. There was no consideration in adjusting the price. More
