He realized we were a bit overwhelmed on our initial visit and didn't push us to commit to anything. Selling extras Mike Price was great. He had expert knowledge of the car and was very helpful throughout the buying process. The negotiating process took a bit too Mike Price was great. He had expert knowledge of the car and was very helpful throughout the buying process. The negotiating process took a bit too long, because Mike was forced to tap dance with somebody else. I assume it was a manager. Once we finally agreed on a fair price, the dealership attempted to sell the extras. I was asked if I wanted to buy a special coating for the inside and outside the car costing thousands. Then I was asked if I wanted to prepay 3 to 5 years of maintenance and an extended warranty for thousands as well. If I had agreed to purchase all the extras I would of had to pay an additional $7K or about 25% of the purchase price of the car. This was a bite lame and took the fun and excitement out of the process. Finally, despite having an appointment and the car picked out ahead of time, it took three hours to get all the paperwork done and get the car detailed. The detailing wasn’t even done very well. I believe it took so long because the team was lightly staffed on this particular Friday evening. More
