My trade in had a lot of negative equity so making a deal that was satisfying to me was a challenge. In order to make the deal work, he enlisted the assistance of Asim Aslam in Finance. It took a little back and forth between the Finance department and the bank, however in the end, the dealership's influence came through and I ended up with a great deal! I've dealt with many dealerships over the years, but this experience was hands down the best. I also noticed how they were dealing with other customers and I was impressed. He reviewed the differences in vehicles, optional protection packages and answered all my questions - knowing that I wasn't buying a vehicle on that visit. My husband I returned on Thursday after we narrowed down our choices to test drive two different models. Eric again answered questions and genuinely made us feel that he wanted to help us select a car perfect for us - not just sell us a car to make a commission. Over the years we've bought many cars from other dealerships in the area. This is the first time I felt like someone really wanted to work with us instead of for themselves. We were able to work a deal that we felt comfortable with - without a lot of unnecessary haggling and time wasting. We then met Tony in the finance office where he handled the business side of things along with the extended warranty. He presented those options (and pricing) to us in a way that we could see value in them instead of scare tactics or high pressure sales. I rarely see this level of service and especially at a car dealership. I'm very impressed with Eric, Tony and all the other staff we encountered during our visit. More

I am new to the Western suburbs, so was hesitant where to shop, as the new car purchase experience has always been frustrating - I hate the negotiation game I've had to play in the past. I've owned Subaru cars for 20 years, and was not planning a purchase under such time pressure. My sales guy Eric Zetterlof was great to work with, not pushy or slimy. He asked lots of questions about what I liked/didn't like and really listened. Eric scrambled to get the car ready, went through all of the technology that is totally new to me, & made me comfortable in my selection. The price negotiations with managers was brief, & I think both sides came away happy. There was no hard sell on warranties, financing, etc, which was welcome. All said, it's still not fun, but the people at Gerald made it better than any other dealer I've worked with. More
