Good Afternoon Stephen. In an attempt to offer assistance, we have thoroughly researched your concern and discussed it with you in detail. We are sorry you are in this situation, but respectfully recommend you speak to your automobile insurance agent further, to obtain a fair value for your vehicle. A GAP policy pays the difference between what a vehicle is worth and the balance of the finance contract. Unfortunately, your insurance company paid only $4,383 for a vehicle that has a NADA book value of over $7,850. Your GAP policy states that your insurance company must give you at least 90% of NADA book value. All insurance companies do not use the Blue Book to settle claims. The reason you have a balance remaining is that your insurance company paid, and you accepted only $4,483 for your vehicle, which is far less than the GAP policy coverage amount of $7,065.00. Lets Let the Consumers decide if they should purchase a JM&A FAKE GAP POLICY. As far as blaming Insurance company for not paying enough, I have did research witht four different insurance companies , Absolutely no insurance will use NADA clean retail to value your car ever. They all come up with same value Allstate came up with, this is very common, This is just a way for Gap company to not pay Gap caim.

We sincerely apologize that we were not able to meet your step daughter’s expectations. All approvals are reviewed by the lending institution and on this occasion, the lender reversed their decision once they had the additional information they requested. We exercised every effort to clear this matter with the funding department at the bank because they had originally approved the deal. Our team also submitted the loan request to other lending institutions. Unfortunately, these options were not accepted by your stepdaughter. They returned to our store on the Saturday before Christmas Eve. We advised we would refund her deposit the coming week when our business office reopened as they are closed on weekends and for the Christmas holiday. Please let us know if you would like the paperwork to submit to your own bank for approval. Our team is always here to assist and our goal is to provide a quality car buying experience.
