The Corolla I purchased only came with one key, I made a small comment about it and he said, "no problem, I can take care of that", same for some missing floor mats; he told me he'd find me some. On the day that I came in to have the extra key made he wasn't there. I asked about the floor mats Brian had said he was trying to find me. Come to find out, there were none to be had. He was at the time out buying some for me. About 5 minute after asking, Brian was walking in the door with my new floor mats. That to me was unparalleled service. This in addition to the friendliness, courteousness and professionalism of all the staff at Germain is the reason I will recommend them to everyone I know and will return the next time I'm in the market for another car. Great job! More
Mark Pastre was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The service center in Texas that told me about the leaking tensioners scared me and also gave me a long list of other things my car needed. I didn't have time to get it fixed before I had to get on the road and I figured I'd call Toyota to check it out when I got to Colulmbus. I am so glad I got Mark on the phone when I called the dealership for service. He clearly explained the potential problems and various solutions depending on what the exact problem was over the phone. I got personal service from Mark when I arrived at the dealership, and a phone call from him when they determined the exact problem. The list of other potential service needed was short and reasonable--not at all like the service center in Texas. Mark got my total service done in less than 3 hours for under $400---which included several other items in addition to the leaking tensioner. Great experience with Mark and Germain Toyota! More

Susan Goodman was so professional and friendly, and she put absolutely no pressure on us as we searched for the "right" car. She took the time to test drive the Camry XLE, and showed us the features betwe put absolutely no pressure on us as we searched for the "right" car. She compared the value of each car for the features vs. the selling price, and it made our decision a no-brainer . We could not be more happy with the superior service Susan gave us, and will recommend her to our family and friends, and most importantly, will buy all of our future cars from her. We called down and spoke with Jo Jo about the 2007, however upon arrival we found a 2008 that fit our needs. Jo Jo was very helpful in not only answering any questions we had, but also in making sure we came out with a price we could afford. I had previously dealt with the new car side, through leasing a Rav4, and they were great. When something used turned out to be the way to go this time - I was handed over to the used car sales, and a gentleman named David Backherms. Like many used car joints, these guys tell you what they think you want to hear. The people we dealt with were friendly enough - and we worked out a deal that evening. Unfortunately we had some bad timing, as the finance manager that we dealt with that first night was let go about a week later for some reason. Our file fell between the cracks and I was being bounced back and forth between two people that were trying to handle things - and was getting different stories from both as to what was going on. Tony Turner and Jimmy Palmer finally came through, but after many many follow up calls from me to really keep the pressure on. I still had to get an extended temporary tag because the financing wasn't completed in 30 days, which they did reimburse, but it was an unnecessary hassle that could have been avoided. This proved to be the theme throughout my dealings with Germain Toyota - they finally came through with what I was asking for (and they were promising), however it took way longer than it should have, and you really have to stay on top of these people, calling them daily, because I really believe that they don't know how to pick up a phone and dial your number. So many times, I was told that they were going to check on something and call me right back. Never heard from them - and I always had to follow up the next day. I also had a mechanical issue with the vehicle, that they were taking care of for me. They had a "guy" who came in and subcontracted some mechanical work from them - and had set up a time for me to come in with the vehicle so he could look at it. I met him there and he spent about two hours to figure out what he thought was the problem. Came out, and said that he knew what it was, had the part at his shop, and it would only be about a 15 minute fix.......I was wondering why he hadn't brought the part with him if he thought it might be the issue, since it was such a quick fix. But no luck - so we agreed to meet there at the same time the next day. I arrived and one of the sales guys took my keys and drove the vehicle into the shop. I hung out in the waiting room - and after about two hours waiting again - went to check to see how this "quick fix" was coming along. At that point, I was told that their "guy" hadn't even shown up yet, and they were trying to get a hold of him. They finally did, and his excuse was that his cell phone was dead, and he didn't know what time it was. So I left after wasting my afternoon - and was set up to come back the next day, yet again. He showed up on time and after a couple hours of waiting again - I inquired about the progress. Remember - they had kept telling me that it was a quick fix. I was told at this point that it was going to be a longer job, so I was set up in a rental. The next day I called in to see if it was ready to go - and they told me that it had to be sent to a Dodge dealership for them to fix it. I had the rental from them, and Mr. Backherms had the Corolla switched out for a Sienna since I needed room for kids and kid stuff - so I definitely appreciated that. Dodge had it for a week - I got it back, only to find out that nothing had been fixed. The same issue was still there....they took it back, had it for another week, and it was fixed that time. They also had the "dent guy" fix a little ding that I had pointed out. So - things got done, it was just ridiculous how long it took, and without any common sense in the proceedings. All in all - I wouldn't recommend Germain Toyota for anyone interested in buying a used car. I purchased mine at the end of Jan, and I wasn't finished dealing with them until the end of March. If you do decide to try them out - just stay on top of them. Call daily to check up - they will forget about you pretty quickly. They have very little customer service once you've signed to buy the car - and I was given poor excuses instead of apologies when things didn't go how they promised they would. You may have to do some of the legwork for them, especially in a situation like mine where the vehicle is taken to another dealership. I was calling the service department at Dodge, and they were telling me that they had left messages at Germain, but hadn't heard back from anybody yet, telling them to go ahead with the work that needed to be done. It wasn't 100% negative, however I for sure wouldn't want to go through that again when I decide to buy another vehicle. The professionalism just isn't there. More

John was incredible to work with.From the moment we met him it was a very energetic and exciting.He was very honest and direct, which for us took all of the xx out of it.We chos with.From the moment we met him it was a very energetic and exciting.He was very honest and direct, which for us took all of the xx out of it.We chose a car according to our needs,after he listened to our uses he helped us in picking it out and was very helpful in explaining all the equipment from hood to trunk.We have been to several dealers and most didn't even open the hood or trunk.We will be buying our next car at Germain and will ask for John again. It was hassle free and fun with him.Oh lets not forget the horn lights and applause from everyone.These guys work truly like a team.Thanks John. More
