I was out of state. I struck a tire tread on the interstste while travelling. I brought my acura in for an assessment of damage. I arrived early in the am without an app I struck a tire tread on the interstste while travelling. I brought my acura in for an assessment of damage. I arrived early in the am without an appointment. The asst service mgr Roger Weidner got my car in and assessed for undercarriage damage given there was a vibration and ticking noise I noted. It was assessed to be a loose shroud. The piece was removed and impact assessed. The car could be driven to return some 1200 miles home as I was time-constrained to have a repair completed at the time in Florida. I was cautioned as to what issues might occur on driving. I have arrived home without incident. I was given the shroud part number for replacement at my local dealer. Thanks for getting me in and the issue assessed; temporary fix made; the cautions on driving impact and the no charge complementry service. All excellent. More
