After an already hectic day, (someone backed into my front end of my car), I contacted Gettel Nissan for assistance with a key lock for my wheels. Why these are necessary, I don't know. My car was at front end of my car), I contacted Gettel Nissan for assistance with a key lock for my wheels. Why these are necessary, I don't know. My car was at a mechanic for brake work and no key lock. It was missing. Called Gettel and was told by a gal that I could come in and pick one up that they had extra laying around in Service. Sent my son up since I work from home and he was told we had to order one from parts and that I was misinformed. I phoned Gettel and spoke with Rachel who advised me she is an assistance service manager. She was impatient and rude. When asking to speak with a different manager on duty, I was told no one was available. She put me on hold to try and find someone, but then dumped my call on another person, Laura. I was advised by Laura, that Rachel had a customer in front of her that she was dealing with. Basically, Rachel "dumped" my call on Laura. As an assistant manager, she lacked the ability to troubleshoot the issue and satisfy the customer! Very disappointing and infuriating. Laura turned out to be my blessing of the day! She not only resolved my issue, but she went above and beyond to take care of it. Laura presented the skills required for anyone in dealing with a frustrated, aggravated, and put out customer as I was. We don't always know what has happened in that customer's morning, but Laura took the lead and made sure to rectify the problem without being upset, rude, or impatient with me! Kudos to her!! More
