After searching for days at different dealerships, I decided to check Ghent out. Allen went above and beyond to help me get into the vehicle I wanted, for the price I could afford, and did not give up u decided to check Ghent out. Allen went above and beyond to help me get into the vehicle I wanted, for the price I could afford, and did not give up until he did. Allen isn’t like other typical sales people. He was kind, down to earth, respectful, empathetic and DETERMINED. And when I messed up my title for trade in- he went with me to the DMV because he knew it stressed me out. I never once felt taken advantage of, but rather I felt like my happiness mattered to him. The owner was also incredible and took the time to sit down with me as well. I will be buying all of my vehicles moving forward from Allen and Ghent. Truly blown away by my experience. More

Here is the issue. They are not the least bit transparent and try to "pack the payment". The car in question was 9,000 dollars. They wrote up a ticket for over 20000 dollars. They had 3,000 dollars in accessories. This is on a 14 year old car. First they was not an itemized list so you had not idea what they were claiming were installed or if they were upselling. Ghent service department was the worst. We had to have a brand new, 3 weeks old, 1300 miles, Chevy Silverado 2500,HD truck that totally lost all power on an interstate highway towed into G We had to have a brand new, 3 weeks old, 1300 miles, Chevy Silverado 2500,HD truck that totally lost all power on an interstate highway towed into Ghent. This was a Friday and also Labor day weekend. While stranded on the highway with a new truck that won't start and camper, the frustration began. First we asked for a loaner. Was told they had nothing available. Suggested to try rental car places. Upon instance that something be found a loaner was found. Upon arriving at Ghent everyone was more in a hurry to get off and start the holiday weekend. No empathy for our situation just we'll deal with it on Tuesday or Wednesday. So they got to it on Tuesday. When Ghent called to say the truck was fixed that day we were surprised that it was done so quickly. When asked what wrong they said the 2 batteries were dead and they replaced them. Their tech took no extra steps to see WHY a new trucks batteries would go dead so quickly. This sounded odd but Scott assured us that was the problem. He even told us they have cars on their lot that sit and have to have new batteries put in them all the time. This truck had not been sitting on any lot and had been driven for 3 weeks already. We left Ghent and at 31 miles away completely lost all power AGAIN. The 2 new batteries completely dead. This was 4:30 and service and loaner Dept close at 6pm. Between phone calls to GM and tow company we could not get back to Ghent before 6pm. Adding to this don't try to get to talk to anyone after 6pm as all their phones are switched to an automated voicemail system with no way to talk to a person. We wound up towing it to another dealership for diagnosis. We never, ever, even heard from Ghent again. More
