Lured in with false information and lies. My husband and I decided to visit Global Automall last night in search of a 2015 Kia Soul ! This dealer is connected with Costco so we filled out the information about what car we wanted and the dealership contacted us. During my husband's interaction with with the sales rep over the phone she gave him a quote for the soul after taking the information again about the model and features we wanted. That is two times the dealership was told what we were looking for - exact make, year, color, and features. When we arrived at the dealership we were approached by G.Champion. He was pushy from the start. Instead of listening to my husband ask his question he proceeds to cut him off to introduce himself and start a sale. When we finally tell him why we are there he finds the sales rep. my husband spoke to over the phone and she passes us over to Mr. Champion. Once again - this being the third time - I tell him what we are looking for and he has the print out from previous interactions. He goes to get the car and brings back one not in the color I want. I told him I wanted any of 3 colors and he proceeds to bring one that does not match then says he can get a good deal on the car since it is not the color we want. We decide to hear him out and wait for a quote. 30 minutes pass as we wait for a quote. When he returns, not only is it higher than we were quoted over the phone, but he is trying to pass the manufacturer rebates off as the money we are saving, when we would get those anyway. Upon closer inspection my husband realizes that the write up is for a Soul + not the !. To which Mr. Champion responds that they do not have any ! in stock. The Finance manager then comes out and says he can order in the ! and still give us the costco deal, but that price is 3k higher than what we were quoted over the phone as well. We were told that they quoted us for the wrong car. I spent 3 hours in that dealership while they tried to pull the wool over our eyes. If this is how you treat potential customers you will lose business. Had you had the car we wanted there was a good chance I could convince my husband to buy that night. instead you lost our sale plus any potential ones you could have made by lying to us instead of telling the truth and letting us leave your time open to other sales. More
