I vistied the Goodson Dealership about a week ago in search of a New\Used car and had the oppurtunity to speak with, Brian Smith. Mr. Smith was excellent, he took the time to show me around the facilit search of a New\Used car and had the oppurtunity to speak with, Brian Smith. Mr. Smith was excellent, he took the time to show me around the facility based on my needs and price range. Also, Mr. Smith was very knowledgable about all of the Acura modles and provided great insight to what I was looking for. One thing I would like to mention is, I am not in a position to purchase a car at the moment, but Brian never let that get in the way of our relationship and continued to provide as much information as he could as opposed to my encounter with other salesmen. I stopped by to take a look at some pre owned Acura's but made sure I let my salesman know I wasn't planning on purchasing one until mid March. Since I am a long term customer of Goodson Acura I will write this review. I would however prefer to just go into the manager's office express my likes and/or dislikes in person looking the "boss" straight write this review. This review is with focus on the person that is always available whenever I do need attention. Bobby Srianant is the kind of person you want as a "first impression person" for any company really. He is a very professional person mixed with a warm personality that makes anyone feel at ease. His patience is outstanding and somehow it does not matter wether I drive in in the morning or late afternoon, Bobby is still the same kind person with an open ear for my special needs I always seem to have. His detailed knowledge of cars is impressive and astounds me often. A number of years go I expressed my admiration about this young man to the manager and by now I would like to emphasize it even more. He makes sure that my car is taken care of and ready when I want it. The service itself has always been very good and I do not recall a single argument about what was done and what I think should have been done to my car. In my eyes Bobby has well proven to be excellent in what he is doing right now. He needs to be considered for a promotion. Ruth Santiago More
Goodson Acura is the only dealership I ever do business with now. I have purchased 1 certified used and 2 new vehicles from them to include using the service department for all maintenance required. I have always been treated with the utmost respect and I find their no-pressure sales atmosphere truly refreshing when compared to other dealerships from my past. Most importantly their prices were outstanding when compared to Kelley’s Blue Book. Lastly, I only trust Goodson Acura to service my vehicle because they are straight up open and honest for maintenance required and have never performed unneeded maintenance. I live in Allen Texas and I purchased a new black Acura RL from a local Acura dealership. After owning it for about two weeks I decided the black paint was too much upkeep for me. So I called the dealer I RL from a local Acura dealership. After owning it for about two weeks I decided the black paint was too much upkeep for me. So I called the dealer I bought it at and spoke to Ron, the new car sales manager. I told him I wanted to bring the car back and trade it in for a grey RL and pay the difference. He said no problem, let me see how much we can allow you for your black RL and I will call you back with the difference amount. I waited and he never called back. So I called him back after a few days and he said he was still checking on what he could give me for my car on trade in and he would call me back. He never did. So I called Ron back and said “Do you want my business or not?” and he said “Yes, I will call you back, let me see what your car is worth on trade in.” And I said to Ron “What time are you going to call me back at?” and he said “1 pm.” At 1:15 pm he had not called back so I called Goodson Acura. I spoke to the sales manager Steve Levi and told him what I wanted to do and with in five minutes he had given me a total drive out price right over the phone. I told him I was on my way. I immediately drove to Goodson Acura and upon arrival found that my new grey RL was on the wash rack being cleaned and the paperwork was to the penny of what I was told on the phone. Within 30 minutes I had written a check for the difference, had my loan approved and was driving home. I am so impressed with the service I received at Goodson Acura and the Sales Manager Steve Levi that I have continued to build a long lasting relationship with Goodson Acura and to tell all my friends about my experience. Take my word for it, do your business with Goodson Acura. I usually purchase three to four cars a year and Goodson Acura is competitive, honest and truly believes in building long term relationships. I took my car to the dealer for a timing belt, drive belt and water pump replacement in addition to having the oil change and a humming noise from the radio diagnosed. I had received a call from the Servi and water pump replacement in addition to having the oil change and a humming noise from the radio diagnosed. I had received a call from the Service Dept stating they were unable to diagnose the radio noise as it was not apparent when the Service Tech turned the radio on. However, they had promised to continue to search for cause of the humming noise, i.e amplifier. Upon picking up my car, i noted the following: - Front of car not washed, nor was one wheel - Coolant not filled, even though i paid for it as part of my service - Washer fluid not filled - Air pressure not checked and adjusted - Multipoint inspection checklist not provided - Maintenance logged not stamped - It was recommended that my front brake pads replaced, however, it took 3 days for Acura to call me back and let me know when i had last changed my pads. When i received a call from Acura asking how my service was, I had informed them of the items noted above and the lady had stated she would follow up with the Service Tech and call me back, she didnt call back. I called her 3 days later and she passed me to the Service Manager. Once again, i informed them of my experience and he really didnt seem to care at all. He had stated that they would note this down and make sure this didnt happen again. I have using Goodson Acura since 2008 and I expected much better. Luckily, David McDavid and several other dealers are in the Dallas area and i have heard better things about them. If you do happen to take your car to Goodson, make sure and check the basic things before you leave, chances are they didn't top off the fluids, check the air pressure, wash ALL the car, etc. More
