Gorges Volvo Cars has been recognized as the preferred Volvo dealer serving our region since 1957. Back then our founder Fred Gorges and his 2 brothers first formed a relationship with Volvo in Wichita Kansas, where the Gorges brothers operated a successful import business. When they were approached by Volvo to start selling cars in the United States, Gorges Volvo Cars was born.
After some time in Kansas, Gorges Volvo Cars eventually relocated to Omaha where we've continued our successful business for 30 years. We attribute the success of our new and used Volvo dealership over the last three decades of serving Omaha, Lincoln NE, Fremont NE, Sioux City and Council Bluffs IA, to the fact that we are 100% dedicated to maintaining our strong family values and extending those values to our customers. He even helped us sync our phones with the Bluetooth!! Financing was painless. Most of it was done over the phone and paperwork was ready for us when we arrived to get the car!! Warranty options were explained clearly and.we did not feel pressure to purchase extra options that did not fit our needs. More

My salesman was new in this job, but I felt he did a great job overall and was very personable.The finance manger also did a great job in helping us get into the vehicle we loved with no added pressure throughout the process to go over what we were comfortable with dealing with our payments. Service center was also great with the few small issues that needed corrected with car. They got the part and fixed vehicle in a timely manner. Overall I would definitely recommend this dealership and will return in the future for another Volvo. More

Great professionalism, very easy going! After seeing a brown metallic (yes, BROWN) Volvo wagon (yes, VOLVO WAGON) cruise past me on 370 a couple days ago, I kind of had to pinch myself. I’ After seeing a brown metallic (yes, BROWN) Volvo wagon (yes, VOLVO WAGON) cruise past me on 370 a couple days ago, I kind of had to pinch myself. I’m not a car guy, I’m not a wagon guy, I’m not an import/European car guy, and I DEFINATELY am not a Volvo guy...so I thought. I popped out to Gorges Volvo to drive the V90CC that I saw on the road thinking it would be a total letdown compared to how cool it looked while in motion and boy was I wrong. I can honestly say that it was the most elegant interior I have ever seen and about the best riding and handling non-sports car I have ever driven. Aaron knew everything there was to know about the product and I was astonished to hear that he was a “new employee” to the Volvo line. I was even impressed by their website which I admittedly scoured before deciding to make the trip out from Ralston...such awesome photos!!! Kudos to the website crew! The GM, Joe, even came out to shake my hand to make sure I was being well taken care of. Fully expecting him to try to close me or sell me on the brand, he instead quite professionally thanked me for coming out and gave me his card and personal cell phone number and asked me to call him if I ever needed any help. I drove back home thinking that I had just left a truly professional place of business, and not just another car dealership. An absolute first after leaving a car dealership!! More
