I went to Willie Racine's because it was close to where I lived and I was looking to buy a vehicle with very specific "must-haves." I had been to two dealerships prior to hitting Willie Racine's and was expecting to be given the run-around and feel pressured into buying a vehicle on the spot. This was not my experience at Willie Racine's...thank goodness! I walked in and a woman complimented my rain boots (it was pouring outside when I went). This woman turned out to be Linda Larose, by far, the most friendly, honest, hard working, competent, and "customer-first" sales person I've ever had the pleasure of working with. This was my first time buying a car on my own and she was very respectful and relatable. She encouraged me to call my dad to consult and was very patient and understanding when I was getting sentimental about trading in my first car. She was just the right amount of pushy to help me get excited about making this big step while also letting me take the time I needed. Linda also made suggestions about insurance and was very open about why she personally chooses one company over another and hooked me up with her agent. As I said, it was raining when I test drove the car and then when I came back later that day to take another look. It is partially my fault for not taking the appropriate amount of time to look the car over from the outside, but I'll blame it on the rain. I was disappointed when I found several scratches and nicks in the bumper and hatch the next day. As for a trade in, Willie Racine's (and Linda) worked hard to give me a fair price for my car right off the bat. I was persistent and managed to get a few hundred more for the trade in, but it really did seem that it was a struggle because they were fair from the get-go. Linda has been consistently helpful even after the sale was complete. I called her the next day because I had left something in my old car and she was glad to help me out. Fortunately my car was still on the lot and she took me up to get everything out. I also discovered, after removing the paper mat on the driver's side, that I was missing the driver's side mat. While I was annoyed at first by this oversight, I called Linda and she immediately ordered a set and has put the driver's side mat in the mail for me. Linda made my car-buying experience as painless as possible. She is knowledgeable about the cars on the lot, is very accommodating, and at least with me, was very intuitive into what her clients need. Linda is great! I stopped by Goss Dodge to test drive a new ram. Lee was very low pressure and helpful. He understood what I was looking for and did not try to push the sale or sell me options that I didn't want. Being 18 and a girl I felt completely comfortable and I definitely was not taken advantage of. He took my husband ans I on a test drive of a 2013 Dodge Dart and course we fell in love. Once back inside he did everything in his power to help us lease a dart. My old 96 Jeep they took in trade was only worth 1000 in a private sale but they gave me 1000 trade-in value. No it wasn't one of those "we'll give you a thousand dollars in trade for anything" deals he worked and worked the numbers with his boss person and made it happen. A couple days after I had the dart the bluetooth stopped working and I called Steven and he set up an appointment for my car the very next day at the time I wanted. I had extensive repairs completed at this dealership for over $1,000. After 2,000 miles the equipment failed and I was stranded in another state. Dan, the service manager wouldn't help until I went into his office and demanded that something get done. Even after another mechanic and dealership both said that it was a malfunction of the original repair, Dan would not listen and made me feel like I was lying. On top of that he framed the situation as them "being kind" enough to help me, instead of taking ownership of shoddy workmanship. I wonder if he would have treated a man that way, or if this is the way that he treats young women. More
