Fixed my WRX!!! I own a 2011 Subaru WRX and I had an issue with my engine. As I would accelerate, the car would slightly lose power.....the power loss would pulsate. I brought it to my local dealer 4 times and it was never fixed. The last time they worked on it, they said a factory technician was looking at the car. They kept my car for 3 weeks. They said they fixed it, but the moment I got behind the wheel, I could feel it wasn't fixed. Here is where my review of Grand Subaru in Bensenville and Conrad Swiatkowski, the service advisor begins. I looked for reviews of other Subaru dealerships in my area and noticed that Grand Subaru was rated high. I called to make an appointment and hoped to get a loaner car sometime that week. Well, they took me that day and gave me a nice loaner. Conrad told me that Grand Subaru works on many many WRX's and that they would find the problem. Conrad called me every day with an update. They were trying a few things to fix the problem. Only after 4 days, he called me with good news. They found the problem, and it was covered under my extended warranty. While they were under the hood, a leak in my AC condenser was discovered and replaced under warranty. I had an issue with my brake rotors which were fixed as well. I really felt like Conrad and the service department looked over my entire car to ensure it ran as it should. My WRX has not been running properly for 1/2 year, and I was very unhappy. I was looking at other cars to trade for my WRX....even though I really wanted my car fixed. Well, now it is fixed thanks to Conrad the Grand Subaru service department. I will be back and I will be sending my friends to your dealership. Thank you for taking good care of me and my WRX. More
Best dealership This dealership has by far the most outstanding customer service my fiance and I have ever experienced. We have purchased 2 vehicles from them in the last 2 years. With my WRX I had purchased the Zurich interior warranty. Was told they cover punctures. Had a puncture in the back seat, took it to Libertyville and they said they couldn't do anything about it. Took it back to Grand, Zurich said they don't cover that, so the dealership took it upon themselves to take care of this. I can't even explain how pleased we are with them. I live in Antioch (50+ miles away) and have a Subaru dealership right in Kenosha (15 miles away) and I took my WRX there just for a recall and an oil change and they damaged my front bumper. Then tried to cover it up (HORRIBLY, the paint doesn't even match) and lie about it, stating that they thought that's what they were fixing. Then claimed they lost the intake paperwork stating condition of vehicle and what was to be done. They refused to take responsibility and fix it which we were told my Subaru of American while not acceptable (Subaru of America did compensate us a little bit after speaking with the dealership themselves) they were not obligated to fix it. So needless to say, Grand went way above to make right on a company (Zurich) they don't even have obligation towards. They're amazing and have my business for life. I'm also suprised at the experiences with some of the sales reps. We bought both of ours from Sandy Cuttone, and she is the most honest and easy sales rep we have ever worked with. I highly recommend her! If it wasn't for her and Damien we likley would have not gotten this issue resolved. Over 2 years later and they're not on only remembered us but remembered what we thought we purchased. You guys are great! More

Joes a straight shooter and a pleasure to work with, maybe it's just me but honest service doesn't always seem to common in the auto repair business, which is not the case at Grand and with Joe. It's another reason I've stayed in Subaru. The whole series team is great from John on down, but when I found Joe at grand I had no need to look elsewhere. More

On July 16,2016, I dropped my 2014 S They should rename the place "Grand Suckaru" Poor vehicle service. Poor customer service. Poor management. On July 16,2016, I dropped my 2014 Subaru Forester (34,400 miles) off for the 30K Mile service. This service is a major service and costs around $500.00. I also requested that my vehicle be cleaned, waxed, and vacuumed, for an additional$125.00. 3 hours after I dropped off my car, the dealership calls and tries to sell me on $1000.00 in additional "repairs". Some items of which should be included in the 36K mile warranty. The service department at Grand Subaru refused to repair the following items: 1. Child-safe door lock does not function-unlatch. (Driver's side) 2. Brake lights are not working properly 3. Windshield wipers are worn out 4. Vehicle alignment 5. Battery test/replacement (I recently received a notice because it is recalled!) After repeated discussions with the service Dept (Anthony) and the manager (Ryan Drone); They refused to honor the vehicle warranty. I paid $500.00 for the 30K mile service, and was the car was given back to me dirtier than when I dropped it off. It had grease marks on the hood and steering wheel, and the service department didn't even attempt to clean the vehicle. I received very poor service and feel offended that the dealership not only will not honor their warranties, but also gave me back a filthy vehicle. More

The night before, I was out, and all of a sudden, my wife and I, could smell the coolant. I made it home, keeping a close eye on the temperature gauge. Saturday morning, I took a chance, and drove to Grand Subaru (about 6 miles), once again keeping a close eye the temperature gauge. I saw Anthony in the service department, and he asked if I wanted to wait, or leave the vehicle ? I said I'd leave it, as long as I could get a loaner. He said there was nothing available, because every loaner, was already reserved. So, Anthony suggested that I wait, because maybe, it might be a quick fix. So, while I was waiting, I went to see Sandy. I was telling her about my situation, and she said, "don't worry, if you have to leave your car, we will get you a car" ! I waited about 2 hours, when they found, that the radiator, did have a small leak. So, as promised, they rented a car for me, from Enterprise. I've never had to deal with an issue, such as this, but I thank Sandy for coming thru for me !! I do, highly recommend, Sandy, and Grand Subaru, if anyone is thinking of buying a Subaru !!! More
Terrible Customer Service Purchased a brand new 2015 Outback in August. When it came time for 12,000 mile service, we called and left a message with no one returning our call. Today (May 16, 2016) the car will not start and we are having it towed and Grand Subaru said they don't know when they can get to it. This will be my last interaction with Grand Subaru and will never recommend them to anyone purchasing a vehicle. More
