9/12/25 Bought 2022 Subaru ascent Onyx 10/31/25 Car goes in because of strange sharpie smell and rattle, kept from Friday-Monday to do oxide treatment, 11/3/25 happy that sharpie smell removed and goes in because of strange sharpie smell and rattle, kept from Friday-Monday to do oxide treatment, 11/3/25 happy that sharpie smell removed and I was not charged, but car still has rattle, 11/10/25 Car goes in AGAIN for rattle and now realization that 60k service was never completed and car has bad spark plugs. Service done complimentary. Rattle still happening. Sent 2nd video of rattle. 12/1/25 car in again for rattle that still was not handled, and burning brake smell. After much back and forth techs FINALLY drive car and gear sound. Told that dash was “completely taken apart” and mounting screw was found loose. “Fixed, all set” except brakes weren’t addressed. I told them I’m not taking it back till brakes are dealt with. Told the brakes “may or may not be a problem” I explain that it’s absolutely a problem. FINALLY, they replace the brakes after I mention there was a recall on the brakes and they decide to replace them all. 12/3/25: pick up car. Leave, now USB doesn’t work. Call service, they take it right back in. My kids and I wait for 40 minutes. Works, head on home. 12/4/25: steering wheel info button and lane departure button not working. Service send my call to voicemail, leave message for sales manager, no call back, send message online for service and another online request for call. No call. Nothing, my husband then went there to get in contact and was told I’d receive a call the next day. 12/9/25: still no call back. At this point I have told many people about this experience and even had to go to another mechanic to sort out my final issue that was ignored. Which this issue was a simple reset from the battery being unplugged. I understand that issues happen, and I also understand that they did eventually resolve MOST of the issues after multiple appointments. But to be a customer to go through this many issues in less than three months and be ignored by the service department and sales is completely unprofessional. I’m sad to see a place that I was truly happy going to for a long time now become a place that I have no intention of stepping foot back in. More

The worst dealership! !! I purchased my vehicle, and yes it was used, in Mid-MARCH 2025. All of a sudden there is $8,000 worth of issues! I did purchase a warranty but it !! I purchased my vehicle, and yes it was used, in Mid-MARCH 2025. All of a sudden there is $8,000 worth of issues! I did purchase a warranty but it did not cover the subframe, which I paid $3800 to fix. They "service manager Joe Briggs told me that it is normal for a car in new england - however I purchased this in March of this same year - no weather. He di not have the guts to call me cback - but sent an email The service gue that I dealt with, Tim, was great - so this is in no way a knock against him. It is a review of the DEALERSHIP. I expected more for this dealership. Timeline: Purchased march 25, Heard a noise in June 25, went in they charge $924 for an exhaust issue, that they told my daughter is something she did - After 3 months I don't think so. I did get my money back for that. October 2025 went in for an oil change and now that car is a rust bucket that is falling apart along with a long line of issues. I called and the girl told me I did not have a warranty on the vehicle, which I knew I did and when I spoke to Tim, he found the warranty. But the subframe wasn't covered and he spoke to his boss, Joe Briggs and there is nothing they can do. I did have to have it fixed, I received a loaner for the time, that was good. But when I went to pick up the car, the technician noticed the steering was tight. (we did speak about this in June and was told - "Oh that's just the way the car is" ) The technician noticed the steering pump was no good. I think God for him and Tim because those two seem like they cared. But again - how was this car sold??? Do NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Subaru should be ashamed of itself to allow these practices to happen. 6-7 month time frame, even on a used car, would not have had these issues if the car was looked at before being sold. To same I am disappointed is an understatement. I purchased a lemon and this dealer doesn't stand behind their used cars! Sad! More
For oil changes, etc. It's great, and the folks are great. I usually work with TIM. However, for the additional services, they "suggested" $2200.00 worth of services. I went to our local, reliable mechanic for a second opinion. Out of those $2200, only $1200 could be done now, and my mechanic quoted me HALF at $587!!! Now, one Subaru said that it comes with a LifeTime Guarantee; and my mechanic a 2-year guarantee, but it will last longer (an axle Seal) is starting to leak). However, Subaru's price is just over THREE times my mechanic's price, so for a say three-year life, it will last another 9 years PLUS before it equals the Subaru price. The other item, a lower control bushing, can wait to be replaced, not needed now as Subaru states, and the price difference is over $250. And for a previous issue, TIM was great, BUT the Service MANAGER still hasn't apologized for accusing me WRONGLY for something done by one of their personal!!! More
