On 6/5 my car was checked for coolant drop in the reservoir at your dealership and the conclusion was thermal expansion/contraction. Although it was known to your dealership that I always measure the coolant level when engine is cold, I took the position of wait and see. On 6/8 I found the coolant in reservoir dropped 2 inch comparing 6/5, only after driving less than 100 miles. Roberto Rodriguez and I talked today (6/9) and he insisted that it is coolant evaporation. I told Roberto evaporation would never happen at this rate and I had this experience before on any car and this only happened after the TCV replacement and this car had no prior repairs. I also wanted to point here that a random loose bolt was found by me next to a windshield wiper and it was confirmed by the Granite Subaru technician on 6/5 that this bolt is for mounting the EGR (EGR had to be removed during the TCV replacement in 11/21). Today the car was analyzed by Autofair Subaru and they determined that the likely problem is air was not evacuated from the coolant. It became clear to me that the technician at Granite Subaru did not properly burp the air out of coolant when replacing the TCV and missed installing a bolt on the EGR valve. Unfortunately, your service contact discounted my information and insisted on an irrational theory of evaporation. I am very disappointed with your service quality and attitude. More

It was nice to receive a call from Granite to schedule a recall appt for my car otherwise I would have pushed it off. They offered to pick my car up so I did not have to sit and wait with my toddler! After the car pick up they called to give me the estimate and I told the gentlemen I had a one year complimentary service. There was some confusion because Granite and the facility I bought the Subaru had called / emailed within one day of each other. Although Granite did not owe me a complimentary service, they absorbed it and told me they would do what they needed to take care of it for me. No gripes - no let me talk to my manager. "We will take care of it". I purchased a Subaru and my husband leased one for me from Granite in years past. We will continue to keep coming back. Thank you! More
