I brought in my 2018 F-150 with a hard shifting transmission issue. Service rep openly admitted there have been many complaints similar. I was under 70K miles and service rep said should be covered transmission issue. Service rep openly admitted there have been many complaints similar. I was under 70K miles and service rep said should be covered under powertrain warranty. Went to get vehicle and they charged me a fee anyway because the problem was with the ECM, which controls the transmission. I explained that the service rep told me it would be covered if it was transmission related fix and was negligent. They refused to acknowledge it was a transmission issue and said it only had to be re-programmed and therefore not covered. Big scam. Transmission doesn’t work, only fix is ECM re-programming to fix transmission and not covered under powertrain. Even though multiple complaints. More

I called them and talked to them about the recalls on a used Fusion we had purchased for our daughter. They looked up the 4 recalls, scheduled us for a during the week appointment.
