I’d give zero stars if that were an option. My 2012 Sorento’s engine seized 3 hours into an 18 hour drive to a new home. The tow truck driver informed me it was a recall issue and took me to the nearest Kia Dealership. I arrived at approximately 11:00 and didn’t leave until nearly 9:00! I had to purchase a vehicle so I could get on my way. The salesperson would not listen to me and offered 2 vehicles for me to purchase. Both vehicles doubled my car payment and neither were vehicles I was interested in purchasing. I was not given the opportunity to test drive either of them! They knew I was in a desperate situation and took advantage of it. I asked to speak to the general manager but my request was ignored. I was told that I was being difficult and spent hours sitting alone with nobody telling me if Kia would replace the engine so I could get more than $1,000 for my trade. The only good thing about this Dealership is the Nigerian gentleman whose name escapes me. I honestly don’t know how this place remains in business. I’ve been purchasing cars since 1990. This was, by far, the worst experience I’ve ever had buying a car. I only hope that, now that I’m settled, I can get out from under this loan and trade my vehicle for something more suitable for my needs. Avoid this place at all cost!
