I had to wait 2.5 hours for an oil change and tire rota dealership new this year. I reached my first service interval and SCHEDULED an appointment. I had to wait 2.5 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. This is unacceptable at any level. If they cannot handle the volume then the service manager should be metering their schedule better. From a customer service point of view, the manager was "unavailable;" typical, let everyone else feel the frustration of the customer due to your decisions. Great place to buy a car but because they cannot transfer that experience to the service department, where customer service really begins, I HIGHLY suggest that you find somewhere else. I was a raving fan of this dealership; however, they have proved me wrong. I WILL NOT go back unless I can leave my car there all day for a factory recall. That is it. Shameful. If I was this owner I would fire that service manger today and find someone that could do the job. More
I have owned 4 Kia’s, I will never buy another one.The service department at Riverchace Kia is the worst. it took him 15 days to tell me that the fuel injectors needed service. Riverchase Kia’s service department, service Manger, Dealership Manger, and Corp customer Service are absolute Terrible!!!! Instead of buying a Kia I would highly suggest buying a 1985 Yugo or some Dealership Manger, and Corp customer Service are absolute Terrible!!!! Instead of buying a Kia I would highly suggest buying a 1985 Yugo or some other brand ( like a 1951 Studerbacker) that will give you service better than a Kia!!! There is absolutely no excuse to take 3 weeks and still waiting for a simple job of making a replacement key.!!!! They have more Excuses when we call, including Dealer Manager, Than a xxxxxx aa to why it does not like eating a rotten lemon. Do yourself a favor and do not get any closer than 250 miles to Rivercchase Alabamat Kia, More
Update: after my car had been here for two weeks, the general manager, Eddie, stepped in when he heard my complaints. With that being said, he was able to get the repairs, that hadn’t been fixed for 2 we general manager, Eddie, stepped in when he heard my complaints. Electric window stopped working late on Friday afternoon I took my car into the service center (with no appointment) and explained the window went down and only came up half way and was stuck. Jarrell, the service tech, was great, and told me they would keep the car (since it was raining outside) and check it on Monday. He kept me updated, recommended other needed service and was great to deal with. Kudos to Jarrell and Riverchase Kia for great service. More

Warranty and Service The only good part about purchasing my car from Riverchase Kia was the exceptional help that I received from Tracy Hambrick when my engine blew at 77 The only good part about purchasing my car from Riverchase Kia was the exceptional help that I received from Tracy Hambrick when my engine blew at 77000 miles. Kia (the factory) did replace the engine with the warranty but that has nothing to do with Riverchase Kia except for fact that Tracy was so pleasant and helpful with getting my records together and even helping me locate records that I had at other service departments. From the day our salesman screwed us on the purchase price (because he didn't know what I meant by the "out the door" price) to the shafty guy in the finance department who just made excuses for the salesman and kind of made us feel uncomfortable with walking out the door on them, to the day the engine blew I swore I would never buy another vehicle from them. However, if they were to train all of their employees to treat customers in the fashion that I received from Tracy, I would re-consider. I hope she is not the only person at that dealership with her attitude. She was on top of my needs, pleasant to talk to, kept me informed throughout the entire process from the initial phone call to gather records and submitting them, letting me know the warranty would replace my engine and letting me know step by step what was happening all the way to the call this morning that my car was ready. Thank you Tracy Hambrick for your wonderful customer service! More
Poor Customer Service Customer service was less than desirable! I went in for touch up paint on Saturday after 4 not not knowing they closed at 4pm. The representative stat Customer service was less than desirable! I went in for touch up paint on Saturday after 4 not not knowing they closed at 4pm. The representative stated that parts was closed for the day. I asked at least twice when they open and he stated, pointing to parts department, "As you can see, they are closed." I asked for a manager and he walks off and says you can find one. I tell another employee what happened and he was better but still wasn't very polite and says that parts closed at 4 and to come back Monday at 7. As he is walking off, I ask to report the gentleman that was rude and he stated,from around the corner, that he knows his name and would do it. Not happy to happy the least. More
