Took my 2023 Sierra 2500 in for issues with the transmission shifting. When making the appt. I was not asked for the reason for service and arrived being asked whether I needed my tires rotated. transmission shifting. When making the appt. I was not asked for the reason for service and arrived being asked whether I needed my tires rotated. This was on a Monday. I informed the service writer that it was trans related and to please have a diagnosis by Friday and to keep the truck in a running state as I need the truck for work on the weekends. This did not happen and the truck was OOS for 3 weeks, meanwhile I lost on 3 jobs. Repairs were made based on a service bulletin but the delay was due to back order of parts. These parts are based on a known issue of the 10 speed "Allison" transmission. IMO General Motors and dealers should be well stocked in these repair parts. After $88K purchase and 55K miles my truck should have never been out of service this long. Additionally the service writer called several times with updates all the while relaying issues on another vehicle not mine. More
I have probably bought at least 7 vechiles from this dealership over the years. I recently had to take my 2024 canyon TX4 in because of engine noise. It was about 6 weeks later that they finally told me dealership over the years. I recently had to take my 2024 canyon TX4 in because of engine noise. It was about 6 weeks later that they finally told me the engine and turbo had to be replaced and the parts were on back order. After the first week they gave me a loaner which I could drive only 5000 miles. They gave me another loaner for a few days then sold it. No indication as to when they may get engine. I hear it is 3to 4 months away. They have made no attempt to get me a loaner. I think there business manager is a big problem. I still make 1000 monthly payments and have to secure another ride while this crap goes on. There warranty is good but getting anything done is a totally different story. Mike More
This was the worst experience I received from a dealership. After showing up we had informed out salesman Randy that we didn’t want to run credit unless the trade quote and numbers on the new vehic dealership. After showing up we had informed out salesman Randy that we didn’t want to run credit unless the trade quote and numbers on the new vehicle made sense. After giving the keys and stating that another dealership had quoted us 43K for our trade in he came back and said are vehicle was worth a lot more which we thought was great then he provided us numbers of the quoted trade and payment of new vehicle which looked great. At this point we agreed to go forth with the credit application. Then after a few minutes he stated to us he made a mistake on our trade first he tried to blame me for sending in the wrong vin number to which I informed him I never sent my vin number to anyone then he proceeded to show us a text of a GMC truck to which said isn’t that you. I was no considering we gave you keys to a Ford plus you pointed out the window earlier and said is that your Ford truck there. Then he immediately says oh we quoted you on an F250 not an F150. Then turns around hands us are keys and says oh the deal didn’t go through. Never asked if we wanted to put money down or anything. Bottom after realizing they had made a huge mistake and not wanting to honor there deal on paper or even attempt to salvage a deal we were brushed off. Me and my wife ran our credit on there lies and mistakes. No value in customer service at all. This proves to me that Brown GMC is the way to go now I can see why Brown is rated as better dealership because they value there customers. Take from save yourself the hassle go to Brown GMC. More
Purchased a 2022 Denali from them last year for 85k. They low balled on my trade (2021 Silverado High Country 2500hd with 13k miles). As I wanted the new truck and there weren't many available within 50 They low balled on my trade (2021 Silverado High Country 2500hd with 13k miles). As I wanted the new truck and there weren't many available within 500 miles I accepted their trade offer of 65k. This year I had planned on returning to Greg Lair to purchase a loaded 2023 Sierra Denali 2500hd. I was told that they would only give 65k for my 85k truck. That was the KBB estimate for a vehicle in fair condition. My truck is at least in the very good category. Before they made me an offer for my trade they requested details about what type of options my trade had including the type of engine. Shouldn't they have all the details on my trade already? After all they sold me truck new 11 months ago. I guess they don't keep records. The sales advisor also strongly suggested that I go with one of the financial institutions they use and I quote, "I make a little money if you use one of them, 3 or 4 hundred dollars more". Long story short, I came across a near identical truck and I received a signed and written trade offer of $74,500 for my trade. $9500 more than Greg Lair offered. I will be picking up my new truck tomorrow from the other dealership. I felt like I was more than fair with Greg Lair this time around. I didn't demand they match the other dealerships offer. I politely ask if the could come close. It's sad because I drove over 400 miles to purchase my last truck from Greg Lair and bragged them up to everyone I talked to. .............and this is the way they treat their customers? Never again Greg Lair! More
Just to update everyone on what type of vehicles these clowns sell, I just changed my oil at there recommended mileage on the Greg lair window sticker (in a 19 GMC AT4). It was the first time after purcha clowns sell, I just changed my oil at there recommended mileage on the Greg lair window sticker (in a 19 GMC AT4). It was the first time after purchasing it and there wasn’t any oil on the dipstick. It was so low I’m surprised the motor didn’t lock up while driving it; you need to be careful having these xxxxxxxx service your vehicle or if you’re purchasing a used vehicle you needs to take it to a trusted mechanic that can verify they aren’t selling you a poorly maintained vehicle. We purchased this truck used. The finance department ran our credit four times, They were informed prior to running credit we could get 2.99% apr though our bank but insisted on running it and only was able to get us 3.8% apr and expected us to take it. They don’t detail used cars and sell them as is, also the don’t fill gas tanks before turning the vehicle over after purchase. We were going to pick up the truck but with the financing issues we had to cancel that trip to finance through our bank with took another credit check and they still insisted on charging us for the delivery fee. That don’t use credit unions for financing; they only use their “approved banks” and rumor has it they get kick backs for having ppl finance through their “approved banks”. They really lowball trades, their lifetime Warrenty isn’t worth the xxxxxxxx this dealership put us through. More

Thanks for restoring my faith in car dealerships. I'm the most skeptical person in the world and I'm not personal friends with any of these folks. Go to Greg Lair for a great deal! More
