Test drove a 2011 Elantra at the dealership. Following the test drive, I made an offer that was only $700 under the sticker price on the car. After a few minutes, the sales manager comes out and (quite ru the test drive, I made an offer that was only $700 under the sticker price on the car. After a few minutes, the sales manager comes out and (quite rudely) proceeds to tell me they've "cancelled all pricing programs for that car" and they weren't willing to negotiate on price. I ended up leaving and buying a Sonata Limited from another dealer in Chicagoland. I don't think my offer was unreasonable in any way. If Gregory Hyundai has enough suckers coming in their door willing to pay full sticker price for their cars, then good for them. I'm not one of those people. You would have sold me a car if you had been more courteous and willing to be reasonable on pricing. More
I went to Gregory Hyundai and purchased a new, 2011 Hyundai Elantra. I was not happy with the trade-in being offered by another Hyundai dealer and Gregory not only resolved that issue to my complete s Hyundai Elantra. I was not happy with the trade-in being offered by another Hyundai dealer and Gregory not only resolved that issue to my complete satisfaction with very little "negotiating" necessary, but also treated me with courtesy and respect during the entire process. Even the finance person was extremely efficient and not pushy. I especially appreciated that neither the sales person (Greg Roland), the owner (Gregory Mauro) or the finance person (sorry, can't recall his name - he was so efficient) tried to sell me additional options or services I didn't want or need. It was one of the most positive experiences I have had purchasing any vehicle and I would highly recommend Gregory Hyundai. Also, they were one of the few dealers that actually had the car I wanted in stock, and even though I've only had it a few days, I have absolutely no regrets and really love the car! Got a good deal on a buy back, wish I could of gotten a little of the asking price, but they were firm. I think by all the features the car had that overall we got a good deal for out money. We really were looking for the type of car and took a risk at walking into Gregory Hyundai. It turned out that the name sounded familiar because he has been sponsoring little league baseball here in Nort risk at walking into Gregory Hyundai. We knew many people in common We really felt that everyone was friendly and they stuck with us and gave good car info. They have good follow through. It's worth at least a visit. More
I have been a client of Gregory Hyundai for 13 years, two cars, and used them exclusively for all service. They take very good care of us and our cars. He greeted me immediately, was friendly, courteous, thorough in his explanations, called to let me know what work was needed after the car was inspected, gave me an accurate estimate of when the car would be ready, called when it was ready and answered all my questions. He truly seemed to care about my understanding of the repairs and about my satisfaction of the work done. He was just terrific. More

I've been looking to purchase a new car for the last few months and finally picked Hyundai Sonata 2011 for various reasons: price, gas mileage, warranties and overall look of this vehicle. So, I chose to work with one local dealer: Gregory Hyundai in Highland Park, IL, because of their large inventory of vehicles. My first impression was that the Sales and Service Team was very professional and enthusiastic in helping me with all aspects of purchasing a new car: test drive, questions/answers, negotiation, loan application and finance. The whole experience took about 2 hours. That was an amazing time record! Now, its been over a week and I am driving my best yet vehicle which should last me a few years, and a confidence to recommend this dealership to others for a lifetime. Thanks Greg and Alex. More

I knew what I wanted and so did they. The price was extremely reasonable, and they gave me a great deal on my trade. I dealt with Ray Fulton, who you could tell really cared about his customers and did an outstanding job. I would reccomend this dealer to friends and family. More

My first stop was Gregory Hyundai in Highland Park, not only because we were interested in the Tuscon, but also that Gregory is located in our town. Because of illness, my husband was not able to accompany me. I felt so comfortable from the moment I entered the dealer. I test drove the car I came to see and I told my salesman Ray I was just beginning to look and not ready to make a decision that day especially since my husband was not there with me. He made every attempt to accommodate me but also understood that I was l not yet ready to purchase. He and the sales manager put in writing what the car would cost and said to come back at any time we were ready. When I told my husband of the great experience I had at Gregory I told him that I was really not interested in seeing any other cars or visiting any other dealers. A few weeks later I came in for the Tuscon....but the one I wanted was already sold. Kevin, the sales manager worked hard to find the model I wanted and I brought it home on Christmas Eve.
