I had pretty much figured out what it wasn't so when I gave the technician the information he got right on it. the next day he called me and told me that I was right! thank you for believing in me and checking it out before charging me more than I needed to pay. I have great respect “FIRST of ALL, this repair was very difficult because the symptoms were very intermittent AND more than one component was faulty. I have great respect for Greiner Motor's service team because of my own electro-mechanical and electronic systems service career. The technician(s) read and appreciated my explanations of the symptoms and failure modes. Since the heater/air conditioner system would not SHUT DOWN for them at first , I was allowed to drive the Grand Marquis until it did. Then I wrote down everything I could observe about visible and audible indications, especially answering questions provided by the technician and the Assistant Service Manager. The finished repair has provided us with a properly functioning "dream car" again. We do not need to list any areas of improvement.” More
