I used the Cars. com service to get a purchase offer for my 2020 Lexus NX F Sport and immediately after making the request, I received a text from Grieco Chevrolet and com service to get a purchase offer for my 2020 Lexus NX F Sport and immediately after making the request, I received a text from Grieco Chevrolet and then a call from the Internet Sales Coordinator. The offer presented was $33,025 which cited low mileage and options. This individual invited me to the dealership and told me that she might even be able to get me more money because of the age, condition and mileage of the vehicle. I made her fully aware that I was interested in selling the vehicle as I had a new vehicle enroute for delivery. I agreed to bring it to them today. Before arriving, I received a call from the General manager who told me that they were excited to see my vehicle. When I arrived neither person was available and another person quickly took my keys for the vehicle inspection. He asked if I was interested in trading and I reiterated that I had a vehicle enroute for delivery. I also presented a printout of the offer they sent me. The individual came back soon after and told me that they would give me $29,000. When I asked what on the vehicle caused them to make the offer so much lower he proceeded to tell me that all dealerships give big online offers just to get people to come to the dealership and that they get paid for this. He then told me it was the color. Oddly, Atomic Silver is one of the more popular colors that Lexus produces. I asked again what issue did they find with the vehicle that made the offer 4k lower and he could not provide an answer. He said all online offers were subject too inspection but again he could not cite a reason why they wouldn't honor their online offer. I told him that I took my time and accurately reported everything about the vehicle. I advised him his dealership had no integrity and that they wasted my time and gas to come there. He began to get a bit nervous and asked what would be the minimum I would take and I told him the original online offer. He then started to throw out counters and to put gas in my vehicle and I refused. He brought in a Manager who said he wasn't afraid of the color but all online offers are subject to inspect. I ended our discussion by telling him I could understand a small decrease in their offer (based on the inspection) but 4k was completely disrespectful especially since they couldn't point out any reason for the decrease. Don't even consider this dealership if you have even a little self respect. They have absolutely no integrity and would do anything to get you through the door. Shopper Beware! More
Bought a 100K dollar Corvette C8 convertible Z51 w/ 3 LT package. Yesterday went to the service center to ask about RPA (Rear Park Assist) as my vehicle was build in a "window" where the components were no package. Yesterday went to the service center to ask about RPA (Rear Park Assist) as my vehicle was build in a "window" where the components were not available and GM said it would be retrofit by Q4, 2022. We are now in Q1 , 2023 he had no idea what I was talking about and didn't seem to care to research anything. I than asked a second question that I needed a cost to "relearn" the NPP and AFM valves/actuators because I upgraded to a Corsa exhaust and have a check engine light. He had no idea the cost, how long it would take or what a relearn even was. I literally feel sorry for the owner of this dealership and the incompetency of this employee. He had no willingness to research it, get back to me, etc. Couldn't tell me if it would be one hour, two hours just we are 199.00 an hour and we round up. Asked if I wanted to book a schedule...lol Told him I'll take it somewhere scratch that anywhere else. More
Went for oil change and tire rotation. . they stated the would not touch my after market rims because they didn’t want to scratch them. He did say they was a slight wait on OIL CHANGE. Sooo, 4 1/2 hours later my vehicle is ready but they let me sit in the customer lounge and extra 30 minutes because no one let me know vehicle was done. Thanks Jonathan. Oh, and my free first oil change expired “days” ago…. Big business had to get that 76.00 from me, no courtesy… I buy new Chevys every 1 to 2 years, guess where I’m not getting my next one…. More
