Gunn had a car like I wanted and I ended up buying it without financing it. I felt the sales rep could have been more organized. I'm 78, wife 70 and we had to walk back to the lot to see the car instead of having it brought up. Some of the time he was out front while we waited for the tint installation and finance process. The overview/checklist for the operation of the vehicle was very quick, maybe because we have had late-model Hondas and have some familiarity with the tech stuff. There was no paper checklist. Our previous sales rep had lavished service and attention on us but he was off that day. More

My salesperson each ti Beginning in 2004 at their dealership when it was located on Bandera Road, I have bought 10 new Honda vehicles from Gunn Honda. My salesperson each time has been Craig Simpson, and I have bought my 10th one through him a few days ago at Gunn’s I-10 location. Craig has been wonderful with each purchase (and trade-in). He is the reason my loyalty remains with Gunn Honda after all these years. And, for the record, my youngest daughter and her husband have purchased 3 Honda’s through Craig since 2012. I should also mention that closing the deal with Patrick Ford in Finance was a great experience. When it comes to appreciating my business and loyalty, Gunn does it again. More

Gunn disappoints again So got on-line and scheduled an oil change for 8 AM. Show up at the dealership and low and behold they don't take oil change reservations - it would b So got on-line and scheduled an oil change for 8 AM. Show up at the dealership and low and behold they don't take oil change reservations - it would be 1-1/2 hours to get my car in. Talk about bait and switch!! Gunn pulls every sleazy, slimy cliché of a car dealer you can think of. I even used them to fix my fender bender at Gunn Collision - was supposed to take 1 week but it wasn't until 2 weeks later that they finally had my car repaired. Funny all the other body shops told me 2 weeks but I fell for the 'We are a Honda Dealer and have the parts in stock' that would make the fix go faster. (to be honest - I was satisfied with the repair - just not the length of time it took) I have used Gunn Honda 3 times and all 3 times they did not even come close to their promises. Unfortunately they are the Honda dealer closest to me - but I will be driving out of my way to avoid them in the future. FYI - their on-line schedulers do NOT connect to their actual schedules - you must call and talk to a person to schedule actual service - happened for the oil change and when I booked on-line for the collision center. When I showed up at the collision center for my 'appointment' I was told the on-line system doesn't really work and they could not get me in. fortunately I made enough of a stink about their on-line appointment system that they found a way to 'squeeze' me in. Do yourself a favor a go to a dealership that actually wants your business...Mike M More
