Bought my car at this location. I was getting my service done a dealership closer to my home. First visit and was pleased. Feel that my car still may be hesitating occasionally. Mr. Malone's excellent customer service skills make it really simple (no pun intended). Paul Decock, the technician who worked on my vehicle did a wonderful job. No issues whatsoever. Mr. Malone even took the time to have my vehicle washed. Another 5 star experience. More
Service time wait was reasonable. My service advisor was courteous and explained the services done on my vehicle well. The cost of service was on par with what one can expect from a Honda dealership. Love this dealership but don’t like the “shop supplies” fee that they charge everyone. You are already making so much money, now you want to add more fees? Not a fan. Underwhelming service visit. Should have done it myself. We bought our 2109 Odyssey from this dealer. Last week, we brought the van in for its first service, after calling them to ascertain cost, whether appointment was necessary, etc. The very helpful gent with whom we spoke said the 1st service was simply an oil/filter change for X $$ and an optional tire rotation for $27 more. Normally, I would do this sort of work myself, but we're moving, and have all sorts of other tasks to do with our time. Plus, my wife was headed past the dealer for another errand, so why not. When she gets there, a service rep (Chad) starts filling out a form with a higher price, and he tried to up-sell her on other services (e.g. balance in addition to rotation). I had warned my wife to watch out for this sort of tactic, but I was still annoyed that it occurred, without this Chad character first stating the basic service prices, and then inquiring if my wife would be interested in anything else at extra cost. So, he tried to write up the service order for about $105 instead of the $70 or so we were expecting. My wife waited way more than an hour for the service. (Should have gone to Walmart, where she could have wandered around, instead of listening to some Gunn employee shoot the breeze with a couple of customers for more than an HOUR. Apparently that guy doesn't have enough to do...) After my wife called me to report how the service was going, I called Gunn to complain, and told "Jason" what had occurred and not to broach the subject to my wife while she was there. She just wanted it to be OVER. Instead, Chad wanders over and tells my wife "uh, we got an email from your husband, and I guess he, uh, wasn't too happy about the service". Since then, Chad has left me at least two voicemails, inquiring about our satisfaction. What Chad should have done was apologize for the up-sell attempt instead of trying to defend it, and then he should have reduced the service fee she was charged, and STOPPED WASTING OUR TIME. We will never again take our Honda to Gunn for service. Not even if it was free. The hassle and time are not worth it. And their employees don't listen. Lastly, their obsession with follow up and trying to get every bit of contact info they can for further selling efforts is tedious. Have you ever tried to chat with them through their website? A quick answer is impossible. They just won't do it. Respect your customers. Give the customer what the customer wants, not what you think the customer should have. More
