Horrible Sales Department This is my second and final time purchasing/leasing a vehicle from this dealership (My first experience was OK so decided to come back). The salesman, This is my second and final time purchasing/leasing a vehicle from this dealership (My first experience was OK so decided to come back). The salesman, Divardo Valdes, was horrible. First he had no knowledge, nor the desire, to go over the vehicle features and answer my questions. He was just trying to push and close the transaction right away. Made the negotiation process longer by trying to sell me on something I did want or needed. He blatantly lied to my face and made commitments he could not meet. I was returning my first lease and was naïve about certain procedures before returning the vehicle. I was on the last month of the lease and the car, although in very good condition, was not yet inspected. He told me he would receive the car and "take care" of returning the vehicle for me and assured me I would not have to make my last payment. As long I leased another vehicle he would receive the unexpired lease and include the last payment on this transaction. Needless to say, none of this happened. Three months after I received a bill from VW Credit for the last payment and excess wear and tear costs. I called him and he would not answer his phone nor return my calls. It took me calling the main line and reaching out to another salesman to get someone to help out. After much back and forth he sent me a message, not even a phone call, saying he did not "discuss" any of this with me and would not take responsibility for the charges. Some family members have done similar transactions at other dealerships and haven't dealt with this "bait and switch" as I did. It is obvious some honesty and training is needed. He should have inspected the vehicle and warned me of possible excess wear and tear charges. Not brush it off in order to encourage me to get into a new lease. The payment for the old lease should have been detailed in the new lease contract (I should have questioned this since the amount shown for down payment was not broken down). Don't let this happen to you. Have the salesman write down EVERYTHING he's promising and include in the final contract. More
