If you could install an aftermarket Bluetooth system, it would help. These are not expensive and can be installed with the existing radio. I did not mention anything in my review about the blown speakers and the warning light that comes on every time I start the car because I thought those things would just make me look like a stupid buyer - but your help in ameliorating those issues would also be appreciated.

My name is Judy Reynolds, 25 Arlington Rd, Fox Lake, Il 60020, phone #847-587-8817. I'm sorry I didn't seen your response before, but it went to spam, and there has been so much spam that I don't take the time to go through it before deleting. I sure would like to resolve this, because I haven't been locking my car when I shop, which I feel is dangerous. One day I had been shopping and when I tried manually to unlock the car, it was not easy. I had both sets of keys with me so I tried the other key it finally opened. Then when I went to back out of the parking spot, the car quit. The dash had a message that the key was disabled. I finally used the other key and was able to start the car and back out of the parking space.. Since then I take my chances with not locking the car. I sure wish there was an answer to my problems. I've given up and am thinking of getting another car, not a VW!
