Today, the very moment I drove my car into the service garage, I was greeted with a smile. Upon exiting the car, I received a firm handshake, and a hearty "Good morning!" [This is Vince Barry's way of garage, I was greeted with a smile. Upon exiting the car, I received a firm handshake, and a hearty "Good morning!" [This is Vince Barry's way of greeting customers and making us feel that we matter; he has been this way EVERTIME (over the past several years) I have visited Halleen's.] He included a little small talk, asked how I enjoyed my weekend; when I asked about him and his weekend, he beamed and briefly highlighted the activities of his three children, his wife and himself (oh, and great grandma, too!). This I very much enjoyed! Then we got to the reason for my visit: Vince encouraged me to detail the problem I was experiencing with the dash "Check Engine" warning light; he asked some pertinent questions and keyed the info on the service form, while briefly explaining the start of the necessary "tracing the problem" process. I knew all would be okay! After getting my signature on the work order, Vince asked me to help myself to the coffee that has just been brewed. The wait was not long. Vince advised me of what needed to be done, footnoting here and there so I was understanding everything. He told me there would be a loaner car so I could go home and wait for the phone call, and said, "I don't want you to have to wait around here for two hours.--With a SERVICE man like Vince Barry at Halleen's Kia, I will always return. The air conditioner on my 2009 Kia Spectra stopped working in March and I had it repaired at this dealership. Though it was under warranty I was still charged about a hundred dollars because they clai working in March and I had it repaired at this dealership. Though it was under warranty I was still charged about a hundred dollars because they claimed that paper was stuck somehwere in the unit. Not sure what they meant. A few weeks later the air conditioner stopped functioning again. This time i called Kia customer care to get it repaired. On July 13, I took the vehicle to Bill Doraty Kia and left it there for a day. At first I was told it would be an addtional 150 dollars and when i told them that I just piad that, I was told it was at another dealer. He then called back to say that his mechanic determined that something was wrong with the air -conditioning unit and that I would need to leave it there for "observation" which I told them I needed the car for work and that it was unacceptable. WHen I picked the car up, it appeard that no work was actually done on vehicle. Numerous calls to corporate office has resultd in no answers. today I filed complaint with Ohio Attorney Generals office to finally force the warranty work. More

Leon was our salesman. He was new to the sales team (one week), but his knowledge and expertise was outstanding. He and the sales manager, Zack, worked hard to give us a great deal on our trade-in and our week), but his knowledge and expertise was outstanding. He and the sales manager, Zack, worked hard to give us a great deal on our trade-in and our new 2013 Kia Soul! Leon, Zack, and another salesman, Charles Scott, were extremely friendly and helpful. They even located the color (Alien green) that we wanted from another dealer and got it to us within a day. Every question we had about the operation of the vehicle was explained to our satisfaction. I was impressed that they even contacted our insurance company and gave them all the information required to get our new car covered immediately. We had such a pleasant experience, that my husband is also thinking of getting a new Kia model soon! We will deal with Leon when we come in again. More

Nilda Miller was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgable about the cars I inquired about. She was prompt on return calls and set up an appointment with Charles Scott for me. Charles was very thorough in the explanation of all the various components of the car giving the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. Not having a new car since 1999 has brought many changes in cars through all those years and Charles was even willing to set up many of the conveniences, such as bluetooth, for me. Oleg Gera was very thorough in his explanation of the finance agreement and extra options offered for the customers convenience. Overall, the experience was well worth it. I would recommend to my friends and relatives to definetly visit Haleen Kia and the aformentioned employees for a fair price, quality service and overall A-1 experience.
