This was not the "typical" car salesman. We were pleasantly surprised to find Jim McConville to be easy going, engaging, and concerned for our overall satisfaction. He guided us to what would best suit our family's needs. When it came to price we were pleased with how far our $ went and that they really worked with financing with us. Even though it was getting late, he made sure we were comfortable with all aspects of the sale and the car. This is a GREAT dealership with WONDERFUL people. Oleg, the finance manager, was also great and explained everything in detail. Both Jim and Oleg were Awesome with our 9 yr old son, they were funny and listened to Collin - which is a big deal to a 9 yr old. We bought a KIA SOUL...LOVE IT!!! Thanks Halleen, you ROCK! I purchased a pre owned 2010 Dodge Journey from Halleen Kia on 8-10-13. Before we purchased the car, we obviously test drove it and checked it out. We noticed the tires looked very worn so we mentioned thi Kia on 8-10-13. Before we purchased the car, we obviously test drove it and checked it out. We noticed the tires looked very worn so we mentioned this to our salesman. He was adamant that this vehicle went through a 120 point inspection and the tires were included in this inspection and will not be replaced. We offered to even pay half the cost to replace the tires because they would need to be replaced prior to winter. They would not budge! I really liked the vehicle and purchased it anyway because I was told "you have my word" that the tires are at least 50% good. I should have known better! There is no such thing as an honest used car salesman. On our way home with our new car we found the inspection report in the glove box. Low and behold...the tires were in need of repair with a comment below that they are very worn and "need attention". Thanks for your "word"! The next day we called, told them what we found and were told to bring the vehicle in the following day. That evening my salesman called me to apologize about the misunderstanding and said he didn't know. He also assured me that this apparently was over looked by the service department and said I will be getting 4 new tires! So come Tuesday morning, my fiance' took the vehicle in, assuming we would get our tires replaced. After several hours of arguing with them, he was told that we accepted the vehicle the way it was and they would not replace them but sell them to us for $50 a piece. How dishonest can a company be? What a shame! We paid good money for this vehicle! We did not get one red cent off the sticker price and still have to pay a portion of the tires that should have been replaced in the first place! He agreed to pay $200 because we need tires! He sat there for an hour waiting for them to be put on, only to be told ...sorry...you will have to come back tomorrow...we don't have them in stock. We were also PROMISED a new rear wiper at the time of the sale but had to wait for it to come in. NEVER heard from them again...I went and bought a new one! Filed a complaint with the BBB and guess what? No response to that either! Classy dealership! This has been an awful experience and I will NEVER do business with you again, and neither will any of my friends and family. I have made my experience very well known! More

Second visit to Halleen Kia. Bought car there several years ago and was ready to trade in for new. Dealership took over 3.5 hours to complete the transaction!! Already had price and model from internet d years ago and was ready to trade in for new. Dealership took over 3.5 hours to complete the transaction!! Already had price and model from internet department but was handed-off to another salesperson. Simple transaction, already had car picked out and just traded in older Kia. Never felt my business was valued as a past customer. Was NEVER offered anything to drink or why the transaction was taking soooo long. This was the 3rd car I have purchased within the last 2 years at 3 different highly-rated dealers and I have been VERY DISAPPOINTED with overall lack of respect for customer loyalty and the customers time. More

Halleen Kia is indeed fortunate to employ a salesperson such as Jim McConville! I visited the sales lot as an older woman traveling alone who was curious about the Kia Soul but didn't know for sure what such as Jim McConville! I visited the sales lot as an older woman traveling alone who was curious about the Kia Soul but didn't know for sure what kind of car I really wanted. Jim's kindness and product knowledge was immediately apparent. He certainly does his part to dispell the reputation that salespeople are sometimes considered to be pushy and disrespectul! I returned a few days later to test drive a couple of Soul models, but not ready to make a decision. Jim excused himself from the meeting, returning shortly to say there was a third option waiting at the door with the AC running and ready for test drive. It was great to witness his abiility to 'listen between the lines' and his creativity in meeting my needs. We wrote a contract within 30 minutes or so and I have a gently-used Soul in my garage in less than a week. Thank you Jim -- you are great and a real credit to the sales profession.
