Second visit to Halleen Kia. Bought car there several years ago and was ready to trade in for new. Dealership took over 3.5 hours to complete the transaction!! Already had price and model from internet d years ago and was ready to trade in for new. Dealership took over 3.5 hours to complete the transaction!! Already had price and model from internet department but was handed-off to another salesperson. Simple transaction, already had car picked out and just traded in older Kia. Never felt my business was valued as a past customer. Was NEVER offered anything to drink or why the transaction was taking soooo long. This was the 3rd car I have purchased within the last 2 years at 3 different highly-rated dealers and I have been VERY DISAPPOINTED with overall lack of respect for customer loyalty and the customers time. Halleen Kia is indeed fortunate to employ a salesperson such as Jim McConville! I visited the sales lot as an older woman traveling alone who was curious about the Kia Soul but didn't know for sure what such as Jim McConville! Jim's kindness and product knowledge was immediately apparent. He certainly does his part to dispell the reputation that salespeople are sometimes considered to be pushy and disrespectul! I returned a few days later to test drive a couple of Soul models, but not ready to make a decision. Jim excused himself from the meeting, returning shortly to say there was a third option waiting at the door with the AC running and ready for test drive. It was great to witness his abiility to 'listen between the lines' and his creativity in meeting my needs. We wrote a contract within 30 minutes or so and I have a gently-used Soul in my garage in less than a week. Thank you Jim -- you are great and a real credit to the sales profession. This car was for my 16yr old daughter, and not only did Jim find us a great first car for her, she was able to have a great first experience with a car salesman. And like I said, Jim treated us like family, not like many salesman do. He never pressured us or rushed us at any time. We had visited many dealerships, and found several cars that would have also been suffice for her, but none of these dealerships treated us with the service that Jim did. The salesman was listened to what type of vehicle I was looking for and the price and gave me many options to look at. He was not rude or pushy trying to sell the car he wanted to sell. I went in just looking around, (my fiance was set on me getting a subaru, I was set on a sorento). Jessie was more than helpful, listened to everything I wanted in my car. My son started getting a little fussy so he went and found toys for him to play with, and even played with my son while we were waiting for everything. He even gave us pizza that they had ordered that day. He was an amazing sales person, and really made me feel comfortable. They gave me an amazing trade in on my car, and made sure my payments were what I needed monthly. I don't remember his name, but the gentleman in finance was amazing as well. They were both very friendly, and interacted with my son (which is a way I decide how trustworthy people are). All in all, I had an amazing experience with Halleen Kia and have already suggested to everyone I've talked to, to take their business there.
