Mark made me feel like I met my friendly next door neighbor. I intended to discuss the sale of only one car (2008 Pontiac solstice)which I noticed while driving past the dealership. Mark greeted me, answered my initial questions about the car (mileage, year, etc.), but never pressured me to buy it now. I explained that I wanted to finance the car through my credit union. Mark did not attempt to persuade me to accept dealership financing. I asked if the price of the car could be reduced. Mark asked me what I would offer ($16,500). He took that offer to the manager and came back with a price of $17,250. This price was $500 less than the stated asking price. I accepted the compromise. It took two days to complete the credit union financing. Upon returning to the dealership, Mark had the car detailed, had my previous license plates placed on the car and had a full tank of gas placed in the car. Throughout the entire transaction, I was treated as a friend rather than a potential customer. Mark has been a salesman for Kia approximately 22 years. To me, that is a testament to the professionalism displayed by Mark. I did not know Mark when I entered the dealership, but I now have a friend. Ron Gerboc More
